1. STATIONING
(a) THE ROAD STATIONS AND ELEMENTS ARE RELATIVE TO THE CENTER LINE OF THE ROAD (e) EXISTING DRAINAGE STRUCTURES SHALL BE CHECKED FOR ANY DEFECT BEFORE PLACING EXTENSIONS
(b) STATIONING OF THE BEGINNING OF THE PROJECT ROAD IS RECKONED FROM THE EDGE OF EXISTING IN CASE THERE ARE DEFECT. THE STRUCTURES SHALL BE REPAIRED BEFORE PLACING EXTENSIONS.
CONCRETE PAVEMENT ALONG NATIONAL HIGHWAY. (f) EXISTING DRAINAGE STRUCTURES OR PART THEREOF REMOVED BY THE CONTRACTOR THAT ARE STILL SERVICEABLE
SHALL BE TURNED OVER TO THE GOVERNMENT AND SHALL BE DEPOSITED AT A PLACE WITHIN THE PROJECT

(c) SIMPLE CURVES WERE USED IN THE TRANSITION OF THE HORIZONTAL CURVATURES. (a) GROUTED RIPRAP SHALL BE PROVIDED AT ALL EMBANKMENT AREA WHICH IS AFFECTED BY SEA TIDE AND AT THE
BRIDGES OPENING.
(d) ALL HORIZONTAL CURVE COMPUTATIONS ARE BASED ON THE 25.00 M. ARC DEFINITION.
(b) EXACT LOCATION OF GROUTED RIPRAP MAYBE ADJUSTED AS DIRECTED BY THE ENGINEER.
(e) SKEWED ANGLE IS DEFINED AS THE ANGLE BETWEEN THE LINE IN QUESTION AND A LINE NORMAL
TO THE CENTERLINE OF THE ROAD.
(f) INTERSECTION POINTS (PI) ARE REFERRED TO AT LEAST TWO REFERENCE POINTS WITHIN OR 9. RIGHT - OF - WAY

5. DRAINAGE STRUCTURE
(a) MINIMUM SIZE OF REINFORCED CONCRETE PIPE CULVERT USED IS 0.91 M. DIAMETER.
(b) EXACT LOCATIONS AND INVERT ELEVATIONS OF ALL DRAINAGE STRUCTURES MAYBE ADJUSTED TO SUIT
EXISTING FIELD CONDITIONS. ALL PIPES SHALL HAVE A MINIMUM COVER OF 0.60 M.
(c) ALL DITCHES SHALL BE V-TYPE AS SHOWN ON THE DRAWING AND SHALL HAVE A MINIMUM LONGITUDINAL
SLOPE OF 0.20% EXACT LOCATION AND INVERT ELEVATION OF DITCHES MAYBE ADJUSTED TO SUIT EXISTING
FIELD CONDITIONS.
(d) CULVERT DIMENSIONS ARE IN METERS EXCEPT AS OTHERWISE INDICATED.
