Pendant les vacances. The present tense is a tense that is used to speak of the current events. It is
used to speak about what is happening now
The futur simple means the future simple that means it speak of things that are to happen in the
future that is close (later). In English we equate it to ‘I will ,’
In French when we want to say a verb (action) into the future simple we; Conjugate the verb
we put certain endings on our verbs.
Le futur simple corresponds to the will-future tense in English. We mostly use this tense to talk
about future plans or intentions, as well as to make predictions about what may occur in the
future. We conjugate the future tense by adding the endings -ai, -as, -a, -ons, -ez and -ont to
the infinitive of the verb.
In other words if someone asks how they can tell that a sentence is in the futur simple we
say that, one has to look for the subject and the verb then put proper endings for that
certain verb as illustrated below. Please remember that you can never conjugate two verbs
with the same subject!
