Reminders before using AutoProctor

1. Students need to log out all their other Google Accounts. Sometimes, students may see: (i)
a blank page; (ii) a page that says the browser could not connect to the Google account;
(iii) a page where they cannot click on an answer, etc. In that case, the student must log out
all their Google accounts, and then log in with the correct Google Account.

2. Do not use Incognito or Private mode.

3. Normally, on a Google Form, you have one Orange Submit button at the bottom of the
Form. On AutoProctor, you have an Orange Submit button at the bottom, and a Green
Submit button at the top.

After finishing the exam, click on the Orange Submit button first, and then click the
Green Submit button. If you do not click the Orange Submit button, all the answers you
have entered will be lost. If you do not click the Green Submit button at the top, your
professor will not be able to see your submission on AutoProctor.

4. The examination is time-bound, and a timer should appear in your screen. Make sure to
finish the examination and click the Orange Submit Button and Green Submit Button
within the time allotted for the examination. AutoProctor shall automatically close the
examination once time is up.

5. Make sure to watch the short clip video that will load after you enter AutoProctor to know
how Autoproctor is determining various violations during the examinations which may
affect the credibility and trustworthiness of your answers.
