Money is the most important consideration when choosing a job.

To what extent do you agree or

disagree?

It is true that someone will accept a job because of its high wage. While salary plays a vital role in
choosing the career, I believe that there are many different factors affecting on this decision,

On the one hand, a good wage plays an integral part on whether one person chooses a job or not.
Firstly, it is important to recognize that being offered a high salary allows employees to meet basic
human need. Therefore, employees could pursue a good standard of living or even luxurious holidays.
Secondly, having a decent salary job and rewarding perk will encourage employee to try hard and
enhance the level of performance. For example, if the director of a company gives the high salary for
member of the staffs who has outstanding contribution in business, that will motivates the other
employees achieving better result in job performance.

On the other hand, there are many different factors affecting job seeker’s decision apart from salary to
choose their career. Having satisfaction in job is the top of priorities of employees. They seek a job
which gives them opportunities to get the higher promotion in the future and provides a professional
working environment. In addition, personal relationships and the atmosphere in a workplace are
extremely important when choosing a job. Having a good manager or friendly colleagues, for example,
can make a huge difference to workers’ levels of happiness and general quality of life.

In conclusion, it is certainly true that money can be an important impact for many people when
choosing prospective job, but this is by no means the key consideration for everybody in making a
career. There are other essential factors such as job satisfaction and workplace relationships that exert
influence on job-seekers’ decision-making when it comes to applying for a job.
