Job Role / Responsibilities

 Monitor the project financial performance against budget


and disbursements
 Ensure that proper procedures for budget and cost control
are in place
 Revise quantity takeoff sheets (constructed quantities on
site) submitted by the contractor
 Revise and approve contractor's monthly/Interim payment
certificate, Invoice and Payment
 Review of contractor's Variation Orders against to the
contract BOQ
 Compare between planned costs versus actual costs and
identify variance
 Identify trend and analyze the project cost status
 Lead budget meeting with the client and the corresponding
lenders representatives
 Prepare project cost control reports including expenditures
to-date, performance to-date, and commitment to-date and
making recommendations as to forecasted cost projection
while meeting critical deadlines
Responsibilities:

 Overlooks on overall master schedules, integrating revenues


plan / forecast and actual figures.
 Prepares projects' budgets according to the approved P&L
and follows up on the budgeted cost items.
 Assures to stay within the project each item cost budget and
discusses each case with the relevant PM before action.
 Reports deviations recognized on the budget, prepares
recovery plans and seeks management approvals.
 Follows up on cost control processing to optimize the cash
out and report budget issues.
 Updates the budget, margin & invoices while comparing
them with the base line.
 Coordinates a master consolidated projects CM plan
synchronized with projects' schedules and reports progress
to the concerned management team.
 Shares Knowledge from lessons learnt with all team
members.
