INTRODUCTION
What is E-commerce?
Its full form is Electronic commerce. It is a business model which offers firms and
individuals to buy and sell goods and services through internet. The history of
ecommerce begins with the first ever online sale: on the August 11, 1994 a man sold a CD by
the band Sting to his friend through his website NetMarket, an American retail platform. 1
This is the first example of purchasing a product using World Wide Web (www).
Although, there are so many types of E-commerce but we will consider only about basic
types of E-commerce.
