Rnd 4: *2 sc in next st, sc in next 2 sts, rpt

Rnd 5: *2 sc in next st, sc in next 3 sts, rpt
from * until end of rnd (30 total sts)

With yarn needle stitch on mouth, cheeks,
and eye lashes. See picture 1.

Rnd 23: *sc2tog, sc in next 4 sts, rpt from *
until end of rnd (30 total sts)
Rnd 24: *sc2tog, sc in next 3 sts, rpt from *
until end of rnd (24 total sts)
Rnd 25: *sc2tog, sc in next 2 sts, rpt from *
until end of rnd (18 total sts)
Stuff with fiber fill.
Rnd 26: *sc2tog, sc in next 1 st, rpt from *
until end of rnd (12 total sts)
Rnd 27: sc2tog around (6 total sts)
Fasten off and leave a long tail for sewing.
With yarn needle weave in and out of
remaining stitches to sew up the bottom
opening. Weave in end.
Frosting:
with 3.5 mm hook and blue yarn
Rnd 1: ch 4, *yo, insert hook in 4th ch from
hook, draw loop through, yo, draw loop
through 1st 2 loops on hook, rpt from * 5
times total, yo, pull yarn through all 6 loops
on hook (1 puff made)
Rnd 2-12: repeat rnd 1, end last puff with a
sl st. Finish off . Repeat rnds 1-12 to make a
second piece. Attach pieces to the top and
bottom of cake. See picture 1.
Carnation:
with 3.5 mm hook, and yellow yarn, ch 2
Rnd 1: 6 sc in 2nd ch from hook (6 total sts)
Rnd 2: working in BLO, 3 sc in each st around
(18 total sts)

Rnd 4: working in FLO from rnd 2, 3 sc in
each st around (18 total sts)
Fasten off and weave in ends. Attach to the
top of the cake. See pictures 2 and 3.
Rose:
with 3.5 mm hook, and pink yarn, ch 16
Row 1: 3 hdc in 2nd ch from hook, * (ch 1,
dc) rpt 3 times total in next ch st, ch 1, sc in
next ch st, rpt from * 1 more time, (ch 1,
dc) rpt 3 times total in each of the next 2 ch
sts, ch 1, sc in next ch st, ** 3 tr in next 2 ch
sts, ch 1, sc in next ch st, rpt from ** 1 more
time, (ch 1, dc) rpt 3 times total in last ch st
Fasten off and leave a long tail for sewing
the rose together. Repeat to make a second
rose. Attach both roses to the top of the
cake. See pictures 2 and 3.
Violet:
with 3.5 mm hook, and yellow yarn, ch 2
Rnd 1: 5 sc in 2nd ch from hook (5 total sts)
Rnd 2: change to blue yarn, *(sl st, ch 2, dc,
ch 2, sl st) in next st, rpt from * 5 times total
(5 total petals)
Finish off and weave in ends. Repeat to make
a second violet. Attach both violets to the
top of the cake. See pictures 2 and 3.
Leaf:
with 3.5 mm hook, and green yarn, ch 7
Rnd 1: sl st in 2nd ch from hook, sc in next
ch st, hdc in next ch st, dc in next ch st, hdc in
next ch st, 3 sc in last ch st, working on the
other side of the foundation ch, hdc in next
st, dc in next st, hdc in next st, sc in next st,
sl st in next st, sl st in skipped ch at the
beginning
Fasten off and weave in ends. Repeat to
make 2 more leaves. Attach all 3 leaves to the
top of the cake. See pictures 2 and 3.
