1. In this general rule we add "ed" to all regular verbs.
Verbs we use for sentences:
 Agreed
 Contacted
 Excited
 Waited
Sentences:
 My parents agreed with the career I chose

 John contacted the secretary last Wednesday

 I got really excited the smiths started to play

 Did you waited all day for my father in the hospital?

2. For the second rule to verbs that end in "e", we just add a "d".
Verbs we use for sentences:
 Loved
 Wasted
 Changed
 Promised
Sentences:
 Maria loved going on vacation to Cali every end of the year

 My brother and I never wasted their grandmother’s food


 We haven’t changed since we were 10 years old

 Mom and Dad promised to come back in september

3. For the third rule the verbs that end in vowel + consonant, if the accent
falls on the vowel of the last syllable, it is doubled.
Verbs we use for sentences:
 Permitted
 Quarrelled
 Stepped
 Sinned
Sentences:
 My lawyer don’t permitted our house to be repossessed

 My cousin and i quarrelled in the stadium for a championship in 2007

4. For the third rule the verbs that end in vowel + y, add "ed".
Verbs we use for sentences:
 Prayed
 Layed
 Obeyed
Sentences:
 I prayed for my family when travel to buga

 I layed when arrived beach


 The persons obeyed the law the weeknd

5. For the fifth rule to the verbs that end in consonant + y, change the "y"
for "i" and add "ed", the final complement remains as: "ied".

Sentences:
 I replied very bad my test in the school

 My grandparents got married again the Sunday
