Task 1:
You are a member of the marketing committee of your college fest. You want to get a
sponsorship for the fest. Assume any company of your choice from whom you want to get the
sponsorship and write a letter to the company explaining to them about the fest and what
benefits they will have if they sponsor the fest. Write in detail.

Task 2:
Surrogate advertising is a form of advertising which is used to promote banned products, like
cigarettes and alcohol, in the disguise of another product. Eg - Royal Stag Music CDs, Bagpiper
Soda, etc.
Come up with an imaginary brand of such products or take an existing one and draft a surrogate
advertisement for it. A poster will also be accepted for the submission.

Task 3:
Read about the recent controversy between Cristiano Ronaldo and Coca-Cola.
Imagine you are a marketing head of the Coca-Cola company. How would you react to it and
what marketing ideas would you come with so as to recover its losses from the incident?

Task 4:
Companies are taking digs at their rivals by mocking them in ads or making memes on them.
Find 5 such examples which you think are most interesting and explain in 2 lines why you find
them interesting
(or)
You can assume a company of your choice and make an ad/meme mocking its competitor.
