RPF SI Syllabus for General Awareness


Maximum weightage in RPF SI exam is given to the General Awareness section. Questions in the
test are aimed to test a candidate’s awareness regarding the environment, knowledge regarding the

This section of RPF SI syllabus carries a total of 35 marks. This section tests a candidate's

RPF SI Exam Pattern


RPF SI exam is conducted in three stages: Computer Based Test (CBT), Physical Efficiency Test
(PET) & Physical Measurement Test (PMT), and Document Verification. The CBT is conducted
in Hindi, English, Urdu, Tamil, Telugu, Konkani, Malayalam, Kannada, Marathi, Gujarati,
Bengali, Odia, Assamese, Manipuri and Punjabi. The CBT is divided into three sections. Each
question in the test carries one mark. There is a negative marking for wrong answers, 1/3 marks is
deducted for incorrect option. The duration of the test is 90 minutes. The exam paper will have a
total of 120 questions. The test carries a total of 120 marks. To qualify the exam, candidates are
required to obtain 35% marks (30% marks for SC and ST candidates). Read More
