TISSNET 2019 Syllabus – General Awareness

This section has 40 questions in total. So, this section is very


important to clear the cutoff. You just can’t do that by just focusing on
other two-sections only. Thus, you need to gear yourself up to
prepare for this section. Moreover, this section is very scoring and can
be attempted in the maximum of 10 minutes. Scoring 30+ in this
section will definitely help you to secure good marks in the exam. The

For this section prepare static and current affairs both. For the latest
events, read newspapers daily. Last one year events are most
important for this exam ie from January 2018 to December 2018.

This section is easy as compared to other entrance exams. A


candidate having decent command in English can easily get 25+ in
this section. So, in order to do that be well versed in reading,

The section has a total of 30 questions in the exam. Questions are


more of speed and knowledge-based. If you have done enough
practice then this questions can be completed in even 15 minutes. So,
prepare well for questions like synonyms & Antonyms, Idioms,
Phrases etc by practicing a lot.
