OPERATIONS?

After a difficult 2020, a sigh of relief for operation – focused organizations may be in the
form of COVID-19 vaccines. But it does not mean that everything has changed, business
environments remains challenging. As pandemic continues to ravage the whole world,

trends of 2021 are very similar to those in 2020. Understanding the universe of IT and
industrial IoT can be proved helpful to identify and calculate RoI more precisely and
thus achieving tangible benefits.
3) Processes: - Processes should be revamped which makes organization to churn the
full benefits of digital technology and automation. Humans are still at the centre of
various processes, such as, using interfaces like PCs, tablets, and mobile phones to
extract, analyse and contextualize data, and perform task and operate corrective
measures to it.
4) Environment Sustainability: - In this current year of 2021, environment
sustainability is a major area to be tapped further to reduce the carbon footprints,
improve and reduce waste and related to it. Identifying and connecting to
environmentally aware suppliers must be among organization’s top strategic
priorities. Technology can significantly support automated sustainability reporting
and management.
5) Competing Practices: - Last but not least, keeping up to the market competition and
managing the competing business practices within the organization is a hefty
challenge for an operation manager. Finance section of business may prefer to
communicate via email and on the other hand HR resources may communicate via
written memos. These differences in business procedure can have adverse effect on
operations when they directly impact the reliability and performance while delivering
quality goods and services.
So these are some of the point which be seen as

when some of these point are taken into consideration and thus it proves vital to
overcome the challenges within the organization. It not only improves the operational
front of the organization but it will also enhances the brand outreach towards end-user
and improves sales. Operation leaders within the organization will remain under pressure
to cover up all these goals but it is important to understand the reducing operational cost
and driving efficiency is not everything. Environment responsibility and sustainability,
HR development and integration with technology are also key. So, in order to create an
efficient and resilient organization, it is critical to fully align technology with people and
processes related to it.
