How many of us are concerned about our monthly bills?

To get comfort, we tend to set the temperature of the room.

We need heating in the winter and air conditioning in the summer. For all of that, we
need energy,
We need gas or electricity energy, depending on the type of equipment that we have.
My point is, the more energy we use, the more money for the bill we have to pay

Unfortunately, a lot of energy is wasted due to the poor insulation in our house.
A surprising fact that the most significant potential for energy leakage comes from
the walls of our home.
this condition makes us try or at least think,
how to build walls that have good insulation capabilities
so the air temperature between in the indoor and the outdoor of the building do not
mix up.

Adding layers to the walls then is become a simple solution to address these
problems.
Indeed, the thicker the layer, the slower the temperature or energy transfer will be.
However, as a result, the area of the building is reduced along with the thickness of
these layers.

As we can see from the picture,

that there are at least 3 layers in the process of making walls for a house.

The thicker walls also have an impact on increasing the total weight of the building,
which affects the planning and the installation of its support structure.
in countries with a potential for earthquakes,
for example my home country, Indonesia,
A heavyweight building can have more fatal damages if a rigid construction does not
support it.
And to create a strong support structure,
will off course, it directly proportional to the cost of construction.
The purpose of my research,
Wants to create wall materials that not only have good insulation capabilities,
but also has a lightweight.

Then, how will I do it?

I will mix lightweight materials that have good insulation capabilities such as plastic-
based materials, with concrete.
Why concrete?
Because concrete has been known to have a character like a stone
that is strong and resistant to all kinds of weather.
In the early stage of making concrete, it also has a liquid phase which allows us to
shape it the way we want it, by inserting the liquid concrete form into the mould.
so the use and the final form of concrete can be very diverse and adapt to our needs

With the advantages of each of these materials, I will mix these elements to create a
wall material that is strong, lightweight and has good insulation capabilities.
