Why Explore?
•  Primary reason:
•  $$$$ - find new
trade routes! (Gold)

•  Secondary
reasons:
•  Spread Christianity
(God)
•  Glory- gain honor
for their countries.

•  Columbian Exchange: exchange of plants, animals, and
ideas between the New World (Americas) and the Old
World (Europe).

•  Begun by Columbus
•  Drastically changed lives all over the world.

•  Gave us the hamburger.


•  Changed Italian Food into what it is today!
•  Exchanges of ideas and culture around the world!
