offers any advantages in society or they are more useless than people always think. In
my opinion, I believe that social media offers more advantages than disadvantages
when people use them effectively.

communicate. To begin with, they facilitate communication in the modern time as now
people can globally connect with old friends and relatives or with others who share
common interests. For example, Facebook is currently providing service for billion users
who can choose to connect and interact with anyone they one, regardless of geographic
locations. Secondly, study sessions are frequently happening on social networking
websites through live streaming service. Therefore, learners around the world now can
have free access to online classes on such sites.
On the other hand, as these sites are becoming more and more dominant and attract
large numbers of new users every day, people deal with risk of personal information
theft. In fact, social networking operation based on user’s information, they provide their
information to sign in these sites without safeguard which caused enormousness that
hackers can use their information for bad purpose. Nevertheless, community network
can avoid these risks by having strictly password as well as not posting information
such as: bank, address… on social media. That is to say, more intelligent users lead to
a major rise and a high effectiveness of using social networking.
In conclusion, I truly believe that using social media has been increasing popular that
has many advantages are overshadowed by their drawbacks only when community
network has ability to make them become an effective and intelligent users.
In this digital age, companies can keep their clients updated regarding newly-released
products or promotions by posting their campaigns on Facebook or Instagram, which
helps save a great deal of time and expense compared to the traditional methods of
advertising in newspapers or magazines.

The overuse of social media reduces the quality of interpersonal communication. Many people
are so addicted to social networking sites that they constantly stare at their screens during
dinners with their families without actually paying attention to the people around them. The
frequent use of social media also affects the style of speaking and writing, especially among
young people. These days, many teenagers have a habit of using abbreviated words, which
are frequently used in text messages or in posts on social media, in their academic essays or
formal emails.
