The new law will allow people to smoke in small bars. The law that has been changed was driving
these small Dutch pubs out of business.

3. What was the law before? Now? Do you agree with it?
The previous law did not allow restaurant customers to smoke, because it was considered illegal, but
now customers will be able to choose whether to smoke or not, and restaurants will also be able to
post notices in their restaurants.

I agree with the new law, because people should be able to choose whether to smoke or not, and it
should not be considered illegal.
