PREFACE

Thanks to the presence of God Almighty for His grace and guidance so that we can finished
the tasks subjects in English with the title "The Noun Phrase" (financial statemen) "as well as
the extent of the knowledge and capabilities.

And we also thank to Mrs. velma SE.MPd as Lecturer subjects of English economy, which
has given this task to us.

We realize that there are still many shortcomings and limitations in the presentation of this
paper. Therefore, we expect criticism and constructive suggestions for the perfection of all

INTRODUCTION

A.ISSUE BACKGROUND

English is the international language. Some countries even have English as a second
language as the state language. English has become a language that can help us to interact
with the international community, ranging from business to cultural exchange. One of the
most important areas of learning that is learning about grammar that includes several things.
One of them is the noun phrase.

In English, the noun can have a series of descriptive words. The circuit is usually placed
before the noun. Explanatory words are called modifiers. This modifier can be only
Noun Phrase for understanding itself or phrase , is a noun which face a series of explanatory
words; a set of words that core noun.

In this paper we also discuss about the accounting cicles and financial statemen because our
major is accounting so this is very iportan.

I. NOUN PHRASE

A. DEFINITION OF THE NOUN PHRASE


The noun phrase is a phrase ,the result of combining a noun ,pronoun,or number,functiona as
a head with one or more modifires .
This phrase is used,when a single noun is not specific enough to poin to a sense noun.
The noun phrase consist of basic noun phrase and complex noun phrase

basic noun phrase is noun phrases that consist of Determiner (predeterminer, central
determiner, post determiner) and head (noun, number, or adjective).
Complex noun phrase is noun phrases compiled by several components to make this taste
more complicated than Basic noun phrase. Components of complex noun phrase are: pre-
modifier, head, and post-modifier.

II. ACCOUNTING CYCLE CONSIST OF

 Transactions
Financial transactions start with identifying and analyzing business
transactions and events.

 Journal entries
The transaction is listed in the appropriate journal, maintaining the journal’s
chronological order of transactions.

 Posting
you can find a summary of all the business’s accounts. For example, all
journal entries made to Cash would be transferred into the Cash account in
the Ledger. Thus, the ending balance of Cash can be determined.

 Trial balance
A trial balance is prepared to test the equality of debits and credits. Total
debits should be equal to total credits.

 Adjusting journal entries


Adjusting Journal Entries are journal entries recorded at the end of an
accounting period to adjust income and expense accounts .

 Financial statements
When equality between the debits and credits have been tested, the financial
statements can now be prepared. These are the end-products of an accounting
syste
 Closing Entries
Journal entries made at the end of an accounting period which transfer the
balances of temporary accounts to permanent accounts.

 Post-closing trial balance


Its prepared to test the equality of debits and credits after closing entries are
made.

III. FINANCIAL ACCOUNTING

Financial Accounting is that branch of accounting, which records financial


transactions and events, summarises and interprets them and communicates the results
to the users.

Financial statemen consist of:

 Statement of Financial Position (Balance Sheet)


Statement of Financial Position, also known as the BalanceSheet, presents the
financial position of an entity at a given date. It is comprised of the following
three elements :
 Assets
 Liabilities
 Equity

 Income Statement
Income Statement, also known as the Profit and Loss Statement, reports the
company's financial performance in terms of net profit or loss over a specified
period.
Net profit or loss is arrived by deducting expenses from income

 Cash Flow Statement


Cash Flow Statement, presents the movement in cash and bank balances over
a period.

 Statement of Changes in Equity


Statement of Changes in Equity, also known as the Statement of Retained
Earnings, details the movement in owners' equity over a period. The
movement in owners' equity is derived from the following components:
Net Profit or loss during the period as reported in the income statement
Dividend payments
Gains or losses recognized directly in equity

1. CONCLUSION

From the discussion of this paper we can take the conclusion :

 The noun phrase is a phrase ,the result of combining a noun


pronoun,or number,function as a head with one or more modifires

 noun phrase is the composition of words and adjective noun, consisting of


Limiting Adjective,Descriptive Adjective and Noun.

 Head Consist of noun,number,and adjective

 Determiner consist of:


Pre Determiner,Central determiner and Post determiner

 Accounting cycle consist of transaction,jurnal entries,posting,trial


balance,adjsuting jurnal entries,financial statemen,closing entries and
post closing trial balance

 Financial statemen consist of Balance sheet,income statemen,cash


flow statemen,and statemen of chnges in equity
