1. How would you define Honesty? Are you an honest person? -5 pts.

 In my own view, honesty is the most important values or manners that we need to
possess. The saying from Benjamin Franklin, “Honesty is best policy” is indeed a wise
phrase. It implies being truthful and at the same time it cultivates a lifelong habit of
telling the truth. In addition, an individual with strong moral character is one who
practices honesty in his or her daily life and an honest person can be trusted because he
always tells it as it is. In my case, I can say that I am not totally an honest person all the
time because I lied when it is badly needed, even though I knew it was wrong. We can’t
deny the fact that all of us considered ourselves dishonest sometimes because we knew
that it was natural in every individual to commit such thing especially ‘white lies’, but as
long as we continue to try our best not to commit such thing and ask for forgiveness to
Him, may He forgive us for our sins.
