❑ Founded in 1946 by US Senator J. William
Fulbright
❑ Over 390,000 Fulbrighters have participated since
its inception more than 60 years ago
❑ Awards approximately 8,000 grants annually
❑ Operates in over 160 countries worldwide.

• The Moroccan-American Commission for
Educational and Cultural Exchange
(MACECE)
• founded in 1982 by the binational agreement
between the two governments
• a non-profit Commission funded by both
governments.

To promote mutual understanding between
the peoples of Morocco and the United
State of America through academic
exchange programs by awarding highly
competitive grants to citizens of both
nationalities to teach, study and conduct
research in our two countries.
