WEEK 3 FORMATIVE ASSESSMENT 2:

OBJECTIVE:
At the end of the session, you should be able to know the different lot types based on the standards of Building Laws,
understand different guidelines and computation of site use and setbacks.

INSTRUCTIONS:

1. The typical lot size is 12.00 x19.00m, the width facing South, and a 10.00 meter RROW.
2. Know the different residential building configuration based on the Lot Type and Width RROW.
a. Calculate the built-up area and open space for this type of lot:
a. Interior lot
b. Inside lot
c. Corner lot
d. Through lot
e. Corner-through lot
f. Corner lot abutting 3 or more streets, alleys, rivers, etc
g. End lot
b. Draw all the given lot types showing the built-up area and open space
c. Describe which lot is best in providing natural light, ventilation, and fire protection for a residential
building by writing a 100-word descriptive essay.
d. Do the hand drawn assignment in multiple A4 sheets of paper and submit as file upload.
