Thermal Insulation (Hot, Cold, PP, Acoustic Insulation) activities:

Check Insulation tools/equipment;

Inspect of all incoming insulation material;
Handling, Storage and Preservation on arrival of new material to the warehouse and onsite location
Review of quarantine area;
Check Clearance to start insulation works;
Check Released for Insulation: (1) Piping Pressure Test Completion, (2) Equipment Installation
Completion, (3) Instrumentation Installation and Pressure Test Completion, (4) Heat Tracing
(Steam/Electrical) Installation and Testing Completion, (5) Visual check, (6) Surface Condition and
damage, (7) Touch-up Painting;
Check Drawings and Piping Line list for Thermal Insulation to clarify Hot, Cold, PP, Acoustic Insulation;
Check Installation of insulation material;
Check Expansion and Contraction Joints, External jacketing/Metal weatherproofing installation;
Check Sealing material application;
Check Accessories and Attachment Materials Installation check;
Check Vapor barriers installation (if it is Cold Insulation);
Visual Appearance of insulation completeness;
Verification of correct recording of acceptance report and inspection form.

PFP (Passive Fire Protection) activities:

Approval of light concrete gunned fireproofing e.g. Fendolite or Pyrocrete;

Preparation of Mockup (Sample);
Approval of galvanized weld mesh;
Instruments calibration of Gun system and Thickness gauge;
Check of Ambient temperature, Humidity, Batch times (Bill of load) and pouring times, Slump test;

Check of mesh fixing and overlap

Verification of correct recording of acceptance report and inspection forms
