ABOUT THE CONTEST

This contest aims to create informative vlogs that are designed to educate the viewers who are consumers.

ELIGIBILITY AND SPECIFICATION

1. The contest is open to all bona fide residents of Oriental Mindoro.
2. There shall be at least three (3) participants in the vlog and only one entry per group.
3. Interested applicants shall attend the Orientation. Applicants who fail to attend the Orientation shall be disqualified.
4. The language shall be English, Tagalog or combination of it. Subtitling shall be provided if needed.
5. The use of offensive acts or languages shall be ground for disqualification.
6. Music to be used for the vlog shall be original, licensed or in the public domain.
7. Entry shall be in HD data format (MP4, MOV, or AVI) in portable hard drive. It shall be on highest quality as possible. Either 1920
x 1080 (1080p) or 1280 x 720 (720p) is ideal. A script shall also be included.
8. Entry has not been exhibited as part of any other similar competition.
9. Maximum running time of the vlog shall be three (3) to five (5) minutes only, inclusive of an optional opening and closing credits.
Entries exceeding 5 minutes shall have corresponding deductions from their points (1 point per every second excess)
10. A bibliography or list of references must be included in the credits of the images, sounds or music used in the video
11. An appropriate documented permission shall be required if the group shall use someone else’s material.

CONTEST MECHANICS
1. Applicants shall submit duly filled-out application form with attached valid ID or any proof of residency
by July 30, 2021.
2. The applicants shall attend the virtual orientation on August 2, 2021, 9:00 AM onwards.
3. After the orientation, the preparation of vlogs shall commence.
4. The applicants shall submit their entries by August 29, 2021, 11:59 PM.
5. The entries shall be screened as to its compliance with the given eligibility and specifications.
Applicants with non-compliant entries shall be given until August 31, 2021, 12:00 NN to submit the
revised entries.
6. The qualified entries shall be uploaded to DTI Oriental Mindoro Facebook Page for the online voting
from September 1, 2021, 5:00 PM to September 15, 2021, 12:00 NN. Contestants shall not upload the
vlog on other social media platform during the contest period. Otherwise, they shall be disqualified.
7. The entries shall be judged and scored by selected panel of judges by September 15, 2021.
8. The results of the contest shall be announced via DTI Oriental Mindoro Facebook Page on September
15, 2021, 5:00 PM.
9. The Provincial Winner shall be the official representative to the Regional Vlog-Making Contest.
