Activity on Tachometer
A. Draw the set-up and discuss how the activity was conducted.

1. Direct Contact
Analog
We used a mechanical tachometer to measure the rotation speed in an old-school way. We put the
tachometer near the stand fan and played around with the fan's different speeds - low, medium, and high.
As we did that, we kept an eye on the RPM values shown on the tachometer's scale and noted them down
for later analysis.

Digital
We used the Victor DM6236P digital tachometer to measure the RPM (revolutions per minute) digitally. To
ensure accurate readings, we set the tachometer to the appropriate mode for RPM measurement. Then, we
experimented with the stand fan by adjusting its speeds to low, medium, and high. Throughout the testing, we
recorded the RPM values displayed on the digital screen of the Victor DM6236P tachometer for each fan speed.
2. Indirect Contact

We also employed the Victor DM6236P digital tachometer for indirect measurement purposes. To
facilitate this method, we positioned the tachometer in close proximity to the stand fan, ensuring that the
sensor could detect the reflective markers placed on the fan. After setting the tachometer to the appropriate
mode for RPM measurement, we proceeded to adjust the stand fan to various speeds, including low,
medium, and high. Throughout the experiment, we carefully noted and recorded the RPM values displayed
on the digital screen of the Victor DM6236P tachometer for each respective fan speed.

3. Peripheral Speed

We attached a device to the shaft of the stand fan in order to measure its rotational speed. The stand fan was
then operated at different speeds, including low, medium, and high. During each speed setting, we recorded the RPM
(revolutions per minute) value displayed on the digital screen of the Victor DM6236P tachometer, which allowed us
to accurately monitor and document the fan's rotational
