“We are Globalization”

]
As civilization drastically reforms over the years, every generation that preceded
before the present witnesses this phenomenon. The concept of Globalization accents
the society's consciousness and role on the influences brought by the interdependence
of countries worldwide. The primary focus of Globalization is the growth and
development of nations through the reinforcement of interactions across the world, such
as trading and mobility. While remarking on the effects of Globalization, it remains
humanity amidst acquiescence on its interests. In my opinion, Globalization
distinguishes the predicaments of our needs as a whole but is unjust and ill towards
humankind.

Globalization does not solely exist because it is fortuitous; it happens because of

our will and desire for more. When we ask for more, Globalization continues to meet
those demands and advances to a new phase. However, we overlook that some people
are inept of this reform and suffer from diverse social issues. Because of Globalization,
countries across the world continue to trade goods and services, innovate technologies
to make our living more manageable, and establish institutions that will ameliorate
education. Yet, we are still grounded on poverty, gender inequality, civil rights and racial
discrimination, terrorism, and more. Politically, Globalization exacerbates the power and
liberty of mankind through the influences of diverse political cultures that allows nations
to adopt practices that connect and interest their rights. During the Ancient
Mesopotamia, Summerians established the first government whereas
Summerians--including the rich, are required to do intermittent and unpaid labor.
However, due to civilization, society today pays taxes for government “labor” and
sovereignty became the focal element of global interactions.

I believe that the foundation of Globalization is mankind and it is a concept

created to establish a “better world” to live in. Instead, we postulate the scope of this
phenomenon only for our complacency. The idea of stability and contentment is inane
because our satisfaction from the fruits of civilization led us to still ask for more and
Globalization became one of the permanent standards for “better living”.
