In reading this article, my point of view is that I agree to look for

alternatives at the time of construction of environmental buildings that do not

directly impact the environment because nowadays constructions are causes of

environmental problems from the excessive consumption of global resources

where the design of green buildings and the use of construction materials are

being investigated to minimize the impacts since they are already underway.

The objective of this work is to review and analyze the current methods of

environmental evaluation of buildings used in different countries in terms of their

characteristics and limitations in the evaluation of the sustainability of buildings.

Another objective of sustainable development or minimization of impacts

through an adequate administration in place are not enough to minimize the

current problem, where the sustainability evaluation goes beyond the elaboration

or design stage of a project to consider its importance in early in any design and

even before committing to development.

However, it has not been concerned with the importance of selecting

environmentally friendly designs during the project evaluation stage where

environmental issues are best incorporated. The main objective is to examine the

development, role and limitations of current environmental building assessment

methods to determine the environmental sustainability of buildings used in various

countries, leading to discuss the development of a sustainability model for the

evaluation of projects based in multidimensional approaches where they allow

alternatives to be classified by analyzing the document in detail. Considerable work

has been done developing systems to measure the environmental performance of

a building throughout its life. They have been developed to evaluate the success of

any development in terms of

energy, environmental and ecological balance, taking into account the

social and technological aspects of the projects.

We must generate practices that help to minimize the effects on the

environment, where one of them is green construction, since it is now a concern for

industrial building professionals, we have been working on the development of

systems to measure the environmental performance of the building throughout

your life journey.

BREEAM was the first building environmental assessment method and is

still the most widely used, it was launched as a credit granting system for new

office buildings, homes, supermarkets and industrial buildings as they have had an

environmental impact in Canada, Australia, Hong Kong and other countries.

Building environmental assessment methods are most useful during the

design stage, when any deterioration from previous design criteria can be

assessed and incorporated into design development. The most effective way to

achieve sustainability in a project is to consider and incorporate environmental

issues at a stage even before the design is conceptualized, a project may have

several development options and choosing the option that minimizes harmful

effects on the environment plays an important role in achieving sustainable goals.

After finishing the reading, I can say that every day we are experiencing a

serious situation of environmental problems that affects us globally, adequately in

the construction of environmental buildings, and implementing environmental

sustainability alternatives in the project allows us to think of a daily action

proportional to the care of ecological systems, since the more sustainable

alternatives we are generating the less probability of generating environmental

damage and the existing natural environment. But also, this interdisciplinary design

makes the well-being and comfort of humanity be thought and sought.
