Planar Portals

Feywild: Material Plane – A small spring of water in a clearing in the depths of a forest. Activates
when a full moon shines on it. Fey Side: The same but with iridescent flowers that sparkle with all
the colours of the rainbow when exposed to light all across the clearing. Active from 11PM to 1AM
(2 hours). Variant: anyone who stands in the flowers on the Fey side must make a WIS save (DC 15)
or experience euphoria and positivity. This lasts until out of the Feywild. Fey creatures and those
with the Fey Ancestry trait have disadvantage on this saving throw.

Shadowfell: Material Plane – Stone arch deep within a cave system. Activates on new moons if in
complete darkness. Fell Side: The arch is crumbling and overgrown with thorny roots from the
ceiling. Active from 11PM to 12PM (1 hour). Variant: The roots on the Fell side grow withered
flowers. Anyone standing within 20 feet of the arch gains darkvision out to a distance of 60 feet.
Anyone who already has darkvision has an extra 60 feet added to its range.

Planar Storm: A mighty thunderstorm rages across the Prime D20 Plane of Existence
Material plane. Anyone in the rain for 1 hour or more must make a 1 Abyss
CHA save (DC 10 + How many hours they have been in the rain) or 2 Carceri
come under the effect of a Blink spell until the rain stops. Variant: 3 Pandemonium
Lightning strikes at random intervals. Anyone hit by this must make 4 Hades
a DC 15 DEX save or be transported to a random plane of existence 5 Limbo
for 1d4 +1 hours. If the lightning strikes a piece of ground or plant 6 Gehenna
life, it changes to resemble that thing as it would be on a random 7 Ysgard
plane of existence. For example, a patch of grass might be 8 Baator
transformed into bright flowers by Faerie planar lightning. The only 9 Arborea
limit is your imagination. Additionally, a lightning strike might 10 Acheron
summon a random creature native to a random plane for 1d4 +1 11 Beastlands
hours. For example, a bolt of lightning forks, striking the ground and 12 Mechanus
a tree. As the lightning is attuned to the plane of Mechanus, the 13 Elysium
grass, ground and tree all become mechanical versions of 14 Arcadia
themselves, with hinges and bolts attaching branches to the trunk, 15 Bytopia
with everything at perfect 90 and 45 degree angles. At the same 16 Mt. Celestia
time, a duodrone modron appears above the grass, looking around 17 Shadow
confusedly, disappearing 3 hours later. Consult the Random Plane 18 Faerie

Table  when appropriate. On a 19, either toss a coin, or choose
20 Outlands
based on proximity (e.g. go to the Astral Plane if in the Outer planes
or to the Ethereal Plane if in the Inner ones).
