Project “SEVA”

Introduction
Around 12.2 crore people lost their jobs during Covid-19 pandemic in India out of which
75% people were daily wage-labourers. The coronavirus pandemic has made India's
unemployment rate shoot up to 27.1%. Most of us sit at our homes in comfort during
lockdowns while others are thriving for a single meal every day. Do you know the cost of our
single meal can provide them with basic food for over 15 days? Shockingly, we forget that
sometimes government aid doesn’t work for everybody as the need for an ID and paperwork
and complex processes of acquiring food packages force many workers to fend for
themselves. While others are working towards the provision of medical facilities in the
country you can provide someone a food kit for their family by joining hands with us. Let’s
make sure nobody sleeps hungry this Lockdown 2021.

“Where and when do we get ration? Whatever we get, we need to buy it. If we work
hard, we eat, otherwise we remain hungry.”
