under the Power Sector Reform (PSR) program through a project on “Strengthening Regulatory
Research & Network in the Power Sector” under Centre for Energy Regulation.

Energy Analytics Lab

Energy Analytics Lab (EAL) is an endeavour of the Department of Industrial and Management
Engineering (IME) at the IIT Kanpur (IITK). EAL presents relevant data and independent
analysis of the Indian power sector. EAL is supported by CSR funding from Indian Energy
Exchange Ltd. EAL is also engaged in developing analytical and visualization tools to aid
decision-making for the sector/market participants and to assist regulators and policy makers.
