Leadership is vital for managers to attain project efficiency and effectiveness. Efficient and

effective project management means having strong leadership qualities that will drive the project to its

ultimate goal because without a good leader, a project is unlikely to be ended successfully.

Project management requires a multiple of leadership skills but the most effective and efficient

one is excellent communication skills .Excellency in communication enables a project manager to

communicate effectively with a broad spectrum of people at different levels within and without the

organization. A good communicator will clearly communicate his/her vision ,goals ,guidelines and

expectations which will guide project participants to head to similar direction .A good communicator is

able to deliver and receive constructive and reasonable feedback through listening to

others(Karagiani&Jude,2018).

Excellent managerial communication forms the foundation of successful projects since it unites

team members and stakeholders to a projects strategy, objectives and budget. It can also enable

everyone be involved in the project to understand his/her roles, which may make them more likely to

support the project (Henly et al, 2017).
