• Ensure there is no self-interest problem when dealing with concerns and needs of the employees.
• Treat the employees with utmost respect, fairness and honesty;

• Enhance trust in the employees by keeping promises and commitments.


• Build the reputation of the organization by motivating the employees to be competitive and

• Involve the employees in important decisions concerning their jobs and roles in the organization.
• Example: Managers should engage the employees on layoff decisions in the organization.

COMMUNITY
• The employee should be transparent when dealing with customers and members of the
community.
• The employee should conserve the environment when carrying out the employment roles in the

• Example: An employee should observe waste management laws and regulations when disposing
waste.
