Chapter 5
CONSEQUENCES OF DISOEBEDIENCE 1
CHAPTER 5
Abel and Cain’s offering, both work diligent to have an offering to
the lord, Cain is working harder in the farm, bring forth the fruit to
bring out the crops, only for his offering to be rejected by God.
Cain’s offering came by the
sweat of his brow, brought
forth by toiling against the very
ground God had cursed
(Genesis 3:17-19). Cain cleared
the ground of rocks, stumps,
and other debris. Then he
plowed and cultivated the soil.
He planted , watered, fertilized,
and protected his crops. He
expended a lot of efforts to
supply an offering.
In the garden of Eden, Adam and Eve
were crown with God’s glory but
when they sin they became ashamed,
they became self conscious prior to
the fall they were God conscious.
They attempted to clothe themselves with leaves but God
covered them with the skin of the animals..this is the way.
So Cain’s offering is
rejected because he
knows that God wants a
sacrifice not from the
fruit of the land. Cain
made it his own way.
V.6 why are you angry, if
you do well, If you did
obey me will you not be
accepted..

God is to obey.

GOD’S
WARNING
1. Sin (disobedience) has desire.

Genesis 4:7
Once this force was granted entrance by Adam, it had one
objective; to control or rule everyone and everything.

The lord of lawlessness, Satan is the force behind disobedience

2. If you do not do well , “sin is crouching at the door.”

DOOR=entrance to
your life, access for sin
and demonic power.
Disobedience opens it,
whereas obedience
slams it shut.
If you open your life to
it just a little, it is like a
crack in a dam. The
force of water
eventually breaks
through like a flood.
