Vivek Sagar - Olympic Medalist is Brand Ambassador of CRISP

Mr. Vivek Sagar, member of the Indian men's hockey team, who won the bronze medal
at the Tokyo Olympics was felicitated by the Center for Research and Industrial Staff
Performance (CRISP) today, September 2, 2021.

In a grand ceremony organized at CRISP, Dr. Shrikant Patil, Chairman - CRISP honored
Shri Vivek Sagar on his achievement. Dr. Patil narrated how Mr. Sagar completed his
journey from a small village in Madhya Pradesh to Tokyo and also told about his
struggles and success.

Shri Vivek Sagar in his remarks said that to achieve any goal, a person should move
towards his goal in discipline, managing stress, with proper time management. He gave
a message to the youth that we should not lose courage even when the circumstances
are adverse, even if we fail, we should keep in mind that we cannot change what has
happened, but we can definitely change the time to come.

CRISP - Chairman Dr. Shrikant Patil conveyed that the purpose of this program is not
only to honor Shri Sagar but also to promote and honor sports in Madhya Pradesh. He
said that the CRISP is also starting training for the players getting trained under the
umbrella of sports and youth welfare department of Madhya Pradesh. Dr. Patil
personally praised the efforts made by Sports and Youth Welfare Minister Yashodhara
Raje Scindia for the development of sports in Madhya Pradesh.

Dr. Patil further informed that under the self-reliant Madhya Pradesh mission of Hon'ble
Chief Minister, CRISP wants to provide support to sports and youth welfare department
and talented youth to bring Madhya Pradesh forward in the field of sports. CRISP is
willing to support the talents of the state at the national and international level. For this,
Mr. Vivek Sagar has also been made the brand ambassador of the sports sector by
CRISP.

Mr. Mukesh Sharma, Chief Executive Officer - CRISP, briefed about the activities of
CRISP.

CRISP's Head of Behavioral Sciences & Management Department, Dr. Sansmriti Mishra
conveyed about CRISP’s Dermatoglyphics Multiple Intelligence Test is done by
fingerprints. Through this, the person's innate talents, abilities and powers are
ascertained, after which personality analysis and counseling is done by experts. This test
plays an important role in the career selection and future building of the youth. With its
cooperation, the work of locating and caring for future players can also be done.

Dr. Mishra herself been a gold medalist at the national level in gymnastics, further said
that CRISP is starting short-term training programs in the field of sports on
"strengthening the mobility of the player's mind and body", "capacity building of
coaches i.e. motivation, team building, stress management, conflict management",
"managerial for officers of sports department".

The main objectives of these programs is to bring the rural, tribal and socially backward
classes forward in the field of sports.

Along with this, training can also be provided by CRISP on topics like personality
development, positive attitude, mental strength, goal setting etc. for the players
currently practicing and such youth who want to pursue their career in any other field
along with sports. CRISP can also organize training programs for those who want to
make.

At the end of the program, memento was presented to Shri Vivek Sagar on behalf of
CRISP and wishes for his bright future. Senior officers of CRISP and all the staff were also
present on this occasion.
