BRUNEY TANDEM 3 SEATER WITH CUSHION (SET OF 3 CHAIRS)

1. Tubular Steel Frame:

Frames are made out of ERW tube conforming to IS 3074 and 7138 of 1973.

Mechanical Properties:

Tensile Strength - 320 N/MM2

Yield Strength - 210 N/MM2
Percentage Elongation - 20%
Drift Expansion - 7.5% on I.D.

Chemical composition percentage

i) Copper - 0.20
ii) Manganese - 0.30
iii) Sulphur - 0.05
iv) Phosphorous - 0.06

a) Frames are made out of Dia 50 x 1.6mm wall thickness.

b) Arms are made out of ERW Oval tubes of size 48 x 22 x 1.6mm wall thickness.

2. Seat & Back:

a) Frames are made out of ERW Tube Dia 16 x 1.2mm wall thickness.
b) Seat and back are made out of CRCA 1.6mm thickness duly perforated.
c) Brazing and welding : All the frames joints are brazed and finished.
d) Seat and back are welded by Mig welding process for uniform surface finish and
higher tensile strength. Wire specification : IS 6419-197 54 DIN SG2 DIN 8559.
3. Powder Coating:

Pre treatment : i.e., degrease, de-rust and phosphated prior to powder coating.

Thermoset powder coating by applying epoxy hybrids.

Property & Range Hardness (pencil) / HB – 7H, Impact Resistance (in labs) / 60 –
160 Gloss ( 60 degree meter ) / 11 – 18% Colour – salt spray / 1000 hrs. minimum
cure range. (Type 2 MLL) (0.05mm) / 3 min. @ 450 F (232 D) Film – time at metal
Tem / 25 min @ 220 – 250 F (121 c).

Thickness of powder coating 45 to 50 Microns.

Elasticity : 3 to 6mm (ASTM D 522 ) Don 5312.

Epoxy barger ultra coat is used which is manufactured in collaboration with world
leader NV of Holland and Hoechst AG, Germany adhering to international standards.

4. Nickel chromium plated decorative knobs:

All the knobs prior to chrome plating are degreased, de-rust.

Nickel plating is carried out on Nickel Sulphate bath at 600 degree C temperature with
continuous air agitation and filtration at a current of 4 Amps / sq.ft.

Chrome plating done on Chloric Acid bath at 45 degree C current of 15 Amps/Dim2

5. Frame height adjustable Knob : are made out of modified PCL synomate ABS/PC
alloy grade M – 850 jet Block.

6. Cushion Seat and back : are made out of 0.8mm CRCA sheet cushioned with 25mm
thick PU Foam of density 26.

7. Head rest : are cushioned with 50mm thick PU foam of density 36.

8. HardWard : Hard ware items conforming IS 6101 OF UNBRECO / TVS.

9. Three seater (Tandem) chair can be sent in knock down condition and can be
assembled at site.
