OLSAT8 online testing?
Technical Readiness
The following requirements will ensure that you are
technically ready to deliver the online test and will ensure the
best online testing experience

• Online System Requirements


• Saving the Pearson Browser
• Running a System Check
•Trying out the Sample Test
OLSAT8 Online System Requirements
Saving the Pearson Browser
•Go to www.pearson.programworkshop.com
•Click on “Download Secure Browser” tab and follow as instructed
•Skip the “Link this Device to Your Institution” step
Running a System Check
The system check should be run on your computer that will be used for testing and
should be run during normal school hours when network traffic would be heaviest.
When the check is complete, it will provide information regarding the specific computer
being used, current internet connection, and a list of potential issues that need to be
corrected prior to testing.
•Go to www.pearson.programworkshop.com
•Click on “Check Readiness” tab
•Skip “System Check information” and select “Run Check”
•Let the system run the check to completion
•When the system check is finished, you will receive a report with your system
information.
Trying out the Sample Test
This includes samples test items, action buttons and how the test will look like on the screen.
•Click the OLSAT 8 - Sample Test on the main page and follow as instructed.
