Installation
Power Supply
In case of using AC adapter take care to use a suitable one which can
be connected on the backside of the display.
Please lift the scale by the platform NOT the baby tray.
Display indicates time (hrs 01-24 and min. 01-60) and the date (day 01-31 and month 01-12). To
switch between time & date the electronic part need abt. 5 seconds.
Time
- Press SET/TARE button. The two digits right hand start blinking
- Adjust minutes and confirm by pressing ADJ/HOLD button.
- Press SET/TARE button. The two left hand digits start blinking
- Adjust hours and confirm by pressing ADJ/HOLD
Date
- Press SET/TARE button. The two left hand digits start blinking.
- Adjust day and confirm by pressing ADJ/HOLD button.
- Press SET/TARE button. The two right hand digits start blinking.
- Adjust month and confirm by pressing ADJ/HOLD button.

Weighing
- Choose weighing mode first. There is a slide switch for kg/lb/oz in the bottom of the scale.
To select kg unit, please push the switch upward For lb,oz unit, just push it downward.
- Press button CLOCK/WEIGHT and switch into weighing mode. If you are in kg weighing mode
display shows first ‚8888’ to define the zero point automatically. As soon as the scale comes to
`0.00´ weighing procedure can be started.
Put the baby on the tray. The scale will display the weight of the baby.
Memory function
As soon as the weighing result is stable press MEMORY key, display will flash twice and the data will
be stored. The stored data will remain stored until the next data is stored (which includes weight and
time mode.)
Recall function
Press RECALL key. Display will recall the stored data. Display sequences will be weight followed by
date followed by time. The data can be always recalled both in time mode and weight mode.
Weight difference
Tare function
Make sure you are in weighing mode. Any object that you might like NOT to influence the weighing
result (e.g. nappy, towel, paper) you may place on the tray to put these weights under TARE.
Put objects on the tray, press TARE button and after the display is showing `0.00´ put the baby on the
tray. The scale will only indicate the weight of the baby.
Hold function
Weighing Toddlers
Toddlers being already able to stand on the scale can also be weighed up to a maximum capacity of
20 kg. Just slide the baby tray away from the platform and store in a safe place.
Place the weighing platform on an even and safe ground before you start weighing the toddler.

In case `Lo´ is displayed the batteries are flat and need replacement.
Safety advice

- ADE scales are instruments of high precision. Please handle your scale with care. Do not drop it,
jump on it or drop heavy objects onto it.
- Place and use the scale on a safe and even ground surface to prevent accidents.

- Do not get the scale wet or store it in a very humid place as this might cause damage to the PC
board.
Cleaning advice
For cleaning just take a damp cloth or common disinfection products.. Do not use any aggressive
cleaning fluids.

Warranty - Liability
ADE will repair or replace this product within a period of 2 years from date of delivery applying to
defects occurred due to poor material or workmanship (presentation of invoice is necessary). All
moveable parts – batteries, cables, mains units, rechargeable batteries etc. – are excluded. Warranty
does not include natural wear, damages caused by incorrect or negligent handling, overuse or
uid
unsuitable or improper storage. The cost of transport will be borne by the customer should the
equipment be located anywhere other then the customer’s premises. In the event of transport
damage, claims under warranty can be accepted subject to using the complete original packaging and
the equipment secured the way it was packed and secured originally. All the packaging should
therefore be retained.
Any warranty claim will be rejected if the equipment is opened by persons not authorized expressively
by ADE to do so.

Customers abroad are kindly requested to contact their local dealer for any warranty claim, customer
service and spare parts.
Any legally guided customer rights are not affected by this warranty agreement.
