highlight the most relevant aspects about the conversation between Dave and Jean.
Step 2: Summary
They speak on the phone about Dave’s trip to Canada, the fear of Jean spending a fortune making
a long-distance call, they talk about the place that Dave went to stay, the cold weather, the places
that he visited and his experience meeting his uncle. They arrange a meeting.
Step 3:
I share that my holiday would be fantastic if I could go on a first trip to know Barcelona and its
historic places, especially the sites built by one of my favorite artists, Antoni Gaudí. My dream to
contemplate those constructions full of bio art and details that seem of another world. It would
really fill my heart with artistry. On a second trip I would love to stay a long time in a land that
seems very familiar to me and is the land of the Nordics.
I have no problem with the cold weather because it compensates with the landscapes and the
amount of history and symbols. I hope at some point I can get lucky and travel to Scotland,
Norway, Finland and breathe that Viking air.

Hello Marzia, nice to meet you, I hope to learn a lot from you and my colleagues. The place you
plan to visit is quite exotic and eye-catching, I would never have thought of going to that place,
but the way you talk about that place and describe how and where you would stay as it excites me
and I know that your savings will soon reach you.
Hello Nidia nice to meet you and to be able to work in this group with you, I hope to learn a lot
from you and my companions. It is very interesting this country, I tell you that there I have
family and I have wanted to travel to all those places, I hope I have the money to visit my family
and I can have fantastic pictures of all these places. My family is in Toronto.
Hello Sara Maria, nice to meet you, I hope to learn from you and my companions, thank you for
sharing your dream and I agree with you, it is very interesting, and I participate in your dream. I
add to my dream that detail of the northern lights.

Step 2: Summary
Dave just arrived to England from his trip to Canada and called his friend Jean to tell her
everything what he had done on his trip. Dave told Jean that he went Toronto to meet his uncle;
he also told Jean that he rented a nice top roof flat with a lovely view and visited an underground
city full of restaurants and shops. They also talk about the weather and the culture of the place.
Step 3:
My dream holiday is to go to Malta, I´ve heard that is a beautiful place with nice rocky beaches,
nice weather most of the year and is a multicultural place as well. Malta is a small island located
in Europe close to Italy.  Is a perfect place to escape from reality and enjoy the sound of the
beach while you having a beer. It has historic towns like Valletta, Mdina and Victtoriosa, they
are towns preserved since the time of the Knights of Malta and characterized by their
architecture. Beautiful balconies and stunning views can appreciated from these three medieval
cities. The best beaches of the island are: Golden Bay, this beach is located on the north western
cost of the main island. If we would like to have a chill and peaceful day this is the perfect plan.
Comino is the most popular island, with crystal clear water and with a lot of water sports to do.

Hello Nidia: After listening to the audio I think that Canada would be a nice destination to go on
a holiday, the only thing is to choose the perfect season of the year to go because is a very cold
place in winter. If you had the opportunity to go, ¿where would you stay, in a hotel, hostel or
rental flat? ¿who would you go with?
Hello Marzia: Indonesia sounds a very nice and peaceful place to go on a holiday, seems like
you have done some search about that place. I would like to ask: ¿Is Indonesia a tropical climate
country? ¿How expensive would be to go?¿ Do you know anyone who has been there? Kind

Hello Karen: Barcelona is a top destination, I´ve been there and I can say that is a multicultural
place where you can find people from all around the world. The architecture of this place is
amazing, the holy family church is stunning and the Gaudi house is very interesting. I´m sure you
will make your holidays dream true. ¿What season of the year do you think is the best to go? ¿For

Two friends talk on the phone, Jean tells her that he has arrived in Canada, David tells him that
he was in England and Jean says that there is a long distance, also he has been in Toronto to her it
seems expensive, Canada Dave says that Canada is a beautiful and clean place, he talks about
having traveled to China, India, Dave talks about several flights to different countries.

My dream, a holiday in Canada, to meet its people, its culture, I would like to know Banff
National Park, Niagara Falls and its beautiful waterfalls. My friends tell me that this country is
very calm, charming and amazing.

Summary: Summary: Jean and Dave are having a conversation about his trip to Canada and
how he met his uncle George, the worries of renting a flat, the use of “ The Path”, the wind chill
factor on the temperature and the cottage his uncle leave and meeting tomorrow to see photos.

Hello to all of you, my name is Marzia, for me is a pleasure to study with each of you, well in this
moment of my life I dream of having a holiday in the most beautiful place in the southeast of
Asia, more exactly it’s Indonesia an astonishing array of natural wonders with many surrounding
places to visit, I want a place quiet, near a clean and transparent sea, far away from the
congestion world, just a place to enjoy great weather, fresh air, nice people, and a comfortable
bed to sleep in it, obviously is very difficult to choose from one of the 1,800 islands but I would
reserve at the Derawan Islands an archipelago of six islands where you can escape for a relaxing
paradise and is amongst the best Indonesia tourist attractions.
In the meantime, I will continue saving money for this dreamed holiday.

Dave and jean talk about the trip to Canada about Dave´s experience, he had a spectacular view
from his room. It is not a big city, but it is very clean, it has a lot of parks and a multicultural city.

I would like to go Finland in Winter someday, there i can camping outside the city, take reindeer
safari enjoy the panoramic views from the snow into nature, I would love to sleep in a transparent
bubble hotel to enjoy the northern lights one of the largest and most beautiful shows that nature
offers us. and the stars of the crystal-clear sky. It is the most beautiful scenery you can see, this
experience i like to see in a comfortable room. Also wake up to the singing of birds, enjoy the
tranquility of nature in its maximum splendor, i enjoy visiting natural places.
