Dear Dean,

My name is Rosie Ann S. Rivera and I am the mother of Ma. Reina S. Rivera
who is a student at Pangasinan State University, Lingayen Campus. Today, I
write this letter to you to ask for permission to allow my daughter to finish
the course she started in your University.
I know my daughter, Reina, has not been going coming to school sometimes
during her previous years in PSU. I also know that she has been failing and
has been retaking some of her classes. What no one knows is that my
daughter has been suffering from mood disorders even before coming to
your University. She has been trying her best to come to school every day to
learn and make friends with her peers yet we know that there are times that
my daughter is struggling to come to school because of her mood disorders.
This pandemic will be a blessing in disguise for her since all classes are
being done virtually. I believe that my daughter can learn better and can
keep up with her classes because she knows she is in a safe and
comfortable place while she does her class virtually. Therefore, I request for
you to consider allowing my daughter to retake her classes and continue her
course in your University.
