SAFETY POLICY

The owner of the Mumbai Monorail, the Mumbai Metropolitan Region Development Authority (“MMRDA”)
and its management, in co-operation with the Mumbai Monorail Operations & Maintenance (“O&M”)
contractor, are committed to providing a safe, healthy and efficient workplace for employees,
contractors, vendors, commuters and persons having interactions with any aspect of the Mumbai
Monorail operations and maintenance. This commitment will be honoured through the implementation
of standards and controls that continuously improve the application and performance of the applied
safety management system.

We recognize the moral and legal responsibility to protect our employees, passengers and the
contractors affected by our operations and to operate our business efficiently:

• Committed to meeting our statutory requirements and dedicated to performing our work in the
safest practical manner throughout our operations, consistent with industrial practice that satisfies
owner expectations.

• Communicate openly with all stakeholders having interactions with the Mumbai Monorail
operations and maintenance on matters relating to occupational health and safety, in order to
prevent injury and maintain safe working environments.

• Provision of an effective risk management strategy to reduce risks and eliminate potential hazards
to as low as reasonably practicable.

• Develop and maintain appropriate emergency procedure and Contingency plan.

• Recognize our accountability for the care and safety of each other at work and the consequences
of our actions on others off-location. The safety of all stakeholders remains paramount over all
other interests and demands.

• Ensure employees understand the hazards in their workplace, comply with safety rules and put
neither themselves, nor others at risk.

• Safety monitoring and regular safety audits of the Mumbai Monorail safety policy and our safety
management plans.

This policy will be reviewed at least once every year and updated as necessary.
