CPT seminar Hanoi

Dear Sir/Madam,

In partnership with FECON and the National University of Civil Engineering, Geomil Equipment would
like to invite you for a half-day seminar on Cone Penetration Testing (CPT). The seminar will be held
on the 8th of June at the National University of Civil Engineering in Hanoi.

Geomil is the world’s first manufacturer of Cone Penetration Testing (CPT) equipment. For over 80
years, we have been supplying the geotechnical industry with the best possible CPT equipment from
our base near Gouda, The Netherlands. In 2014 we opened a regional office in Kuala Lumpur,
Malaysia to enhance the support for Asia-Pacific.

The objective of the seminar is to familiarize the participant with the CPT in the widest sense, from
the equipment, the theory behind the test and the use in geotechnical practice, to the data obtained.
This interactive seminar will cover the history, the basics, the variety of machinery, the applications
and the hands-on practical use of CPT equipment.

Geomil is pleased to jointly organize the seminar with FECON, recognizing the pioneering role it has
played in establishing CPT in Vietnam, and the National University of Civil Engineering underlining its
position as academic frontrunner in the field of geotechnics. The seminar will allow anybody with a
professional interest in CPT to work on loopholes or to gain new insights.
