Philosopher Concept of the Self

According to Socrates “Self” is not to be recognized with
what they have, their position in society, their notoriety, or
Socrates even their body. Socrates, on the other hand, famously
asserted that our real self is our soul.

According to Plato, "Self" is the reason or intellect that

represents their soul and is separate from their body.
Plato Aristotle also attained that the human being is a combination
of body and soul, and that the soul cannot be isolated from
the body.

"Self," according to Augustine, is his relationship to God,

both in his appreciation of God's love and in his answer to it
Augustine through consciousness, then soul. Augustine presumed that
eternal life could not be attained without first discovering
Repentance.

The self, according to Hume, is "that upon which our various

perceptions and insights are expected to always have an
David Hume allusion."

He believes that we all have an inner and outer self that

combine to establish our conscience. Peoples emotional
Immanuel state and sensible intelligence make up our inner self. Our
Kant senses and the rest of the universe are part of our outer self.

For me, "Self" refers to our manner of who we really are or

Your our true character. You will expose your genuine self to
concept anyone if you want them to understand exactly who and
what you are.
