Philosopher Concept of the Self
According to Socrates “Self” is not to be recognized with what they have, their position in society, their notoriety, or Socrates even their body. Socrates, on the other hand, famously asserted that our real self is our soul.
According to Plato, "Self" is the reason or intellect that
represents their soul and is separate from their body. Plato Aristotle also attained that the human being is a combination of body and soul, and that the soul cannot be isolated from the body.
"Self," according to Augustine, is his relationship to God,
both in his appreciation of God's love and in his answer to it Augustine through consciousness, then soul. Augustine presumed that eternal life could not be attained without first discovering Repentance.
