The Indian Summer Festival

Come to the Indian Summer Festival in Milwaukee,

USA. Every year in September people come to
Milwaukee to participate in this fantastic festival. This
festival started thirty years ago and many families
come every year because there are lots of things to do.
For example, you can participate in a traditional Indian
dance competition and wear colourful clothes. There
are presents for all the good dancers! There are a lot of
dancers and musicians at the festival! You can also
listen to some live music or watch some magic tricks with your friends or you can watch
the artists at work. These artists make moccasins (Indian shoes), clothes and paintings.

Are you an active person? Take a walk around the street. There, you can buy toys, jewellery,
magazines and clothes – they sell animal skins*, too! Do you like eating different food?
You can have Indian bread or a buffalo burger! In the evening, there are concerts to make
the event an exciting time for everyone. A visit to the Indian Summer festival is a great day
