Interviewer: Good day Ms Edrien! I know you in person that you are into photography and poetry
and I am interested you to tell me about more of it.

Artist: Of course, I would love to.

Interviewer: So, I have here few questions to ask for you.

Artist: Very well. Let’s dive in.

Interviewer:

1. What’s your background?

Artist:

- When it comes to background, perhaps neither in our family has the love of what I am
doing, capturing moments of aesthetic sceneries, and giving emotions by playing words
around. Somehow, these interest me and what makes me driven to do so.

Interviewer:

2. What does your work aim to say?

Artist:

- I would say, by means of my photography poetry I am more expressive of what I feel. It


eases my soul and mind when I am creating something soothing and relaxing. It also helps
me keep going in life, especially my works I consider them as my treasures.

Interviewer:

3. How does your work comment on current social or political issues?

Artist:

- In terms of my works, I mostly capture nature and everything that our eyes see however
barely appreciated. People tend to be fast moving. What I mean by that is they got no time
to hover for a moment to see and feel the things around us. The trees, birds, sun, the wind
and most importantly our life we have each day. My works are created with love and
passion, by sharing through different social media platforms, I have this belief that hopefully
many could reach and relate to it. I believe that what my work comment especially our
current situation at the moment, people need something to bring hope, love and joy back
again.

4. Who are your biggest influences?

Artist:

- I have no particular person that have influenced me of what I do. But one thing I am certain
of I am fond of reading poetry, prose, fictional, and life books. One time I got this book to
read and I was fascinated by it. There was a lot of photographs and beneath that are words
of emotions. I just fell in love and now I am doing it myself for real too.

5. How have you developed your career?

Artist:

- Although this is not yet a career, I would rather say I am passionately driven into this kind of
stuff. By means of keeping myself in reading more books and searching for inspiration on
both surroundings and social medias. As well as to practice as long as I am dedicated and I
have heart that loves of what I do.

Interviewer:

6. How do you seek out opportunities?

Artist:

- Since most of us are highly dependent on the internet especially on social medias, I am
utilizing these to share my works and I find that as a great opportunity to start with. I could
be able to share globally to other people.

Interviewer:

7. Which current art world trends are you following?

Artist:

- I guess there is no in particular and for me there is no need to follow the trends because I
believe that as long as I stay true of what I do and myself giving the all out best of my works.
Dedication and passion are what I hold onto.

Interviewer: Thank you that amazing brief narrative of you being an artist. It is great to know you more
as passionate and dedicated artist. I know you are doing well. And all I can say is that keep it up. And
also, very much appreciated of the time you spent with me.
