Mental health is thorough as physical health, depending on Ray Charles, "Mental health

and physical health are closely connected. Mental health plays a major role in people’s ability to
maintain good physical health. Mental illnesses, such as depression and anxiety, affect people’s
ability to participate in health-promoting behaviors. In turn, problems with physical health, such
as chronic diseases, can have a serious impact on mental health and decrease a person’s ability
to participate in treatment and recover". These two things are very important in your life, but
how to balance them? What will happen if we cannot control one of these?

The best way to balance your mental and physical health is by beat the stress. It’s really
important to keep stress under control, even with stressors that cannot be avoided. Some ways
to beat that stress include Talking to a trusted friend or family, always calm yourself no matter
where or when stress hits. Listening to uplifting music, smelling your favorite scent. Go watch a
funny movie, take a walk, listen to your favorite song on repeat, read a good book, or just head
to your favorite cafe for some collected calm. Some activities that help you relax such as yoga,
mindfulness meditation, deep breathing, or progressive muscle relaxation that can put the
brakes on stress and bring your mind and body back into a state of balance.

When we cannot control our mental health, it affects physical health too. According to
Bette Davis, "Depression is a brain disorder that can lead to much emotional anguish. Changes
in how your brain functions also can have a big effect on your body. Is it any wonder, then, that
depression contributes to a wide array of physical problems that affect everything from your
heart to your immune system? Depression doesn't just cause physical symptoms; it can also
increase your risk for -- or may worsen -- certain physical illnesses or conditions. In turn, some
illnesses can also trigger depression." It can affect physical health by Increased aches and pains,
Chronic fatigue, decreased interest in sex, decreased appetite, Insomnia, lack of deep sleep, or
oversleeping.

You should control your mental and physical health because they are very important in
your daily life. When you lose control of your mental health you lose your physical health too,
such as a lack of sleep, or oversleeping which can cause you in your daily life a lot.
