Enrolment Terms and Conditions

This is the Enrolment Terms and Conditions ("Terms") for the provision of education and training services to the enrolling
student, herin named ("Student").

The purpose of these Terms is to outline the agreement for the provision of a course of study which includes training and/or
assessment, herin named ("Course").

The Course and all relating training and assessment are provided under these Terms by QTS Education Solutions Pty Ltd trading
as Quality Training Solutions ("QTS").

The following terms and conditions apply to all students:

Students are required to maintain a current email address which is to be checked regularly. All official communication
from QTS will be via email.
Students must advise of all changes to their contact details such as address, email, phone number within 5 working days
of the change.
Students are required to notify QTS as soon as it is practical of any event or any difficulties impacting the progress of
their training and completion of their qualification and if necessary, apply for an extension. Only one extension is
permitted (maximum of 6 months).
Students must notify QTS of any disability or impairment that may impact their ability to complete the Course prior to
enrolment. Students must notify QTS within 5 working days of any new disability or impairment that happens during
the enrolment period that may impact their ability to complete the Course.
A QTS representative will reply to all academic or student support enquires within two (2) working days of receiving
the enquiry.
Assessment feedback will be provided within ten (10) working days of QTS receiving the assessment (not from date it
is sent).
Statements of Attainment/Certificates/Diplomas will be issued within Thirty (30) working days of Course completion.
Please note, the process for producing the Statement of Attainment/Certificates/Diplomas will not begin until all
outstanding fees are paid in full.
It is the Students responsibility to ensure that they have the suitable course requirements to undertake their Course.
These are outlined within each Course page on the QTS website.
It is the Students responsibility to ensure that all assessment questions are read thoroughly prior to submitting
assessments. When resubmitted make sure that all feedback is addressed, and all required questions answered. A fee of
$ 30 USD will be charged if more than 2 resubmissions are required.
Students are required to notify QTS at minimum 24 hours before the tutor scheduled session of an intended
cancellation. If QTS is not notified 24 hours prior to the scheduled appointment QTS will invoice the student a $20
USD fee for failure to cancel. Cancellations must be made via telephone call, preferably directly to the trainer. This fee
maybe waivered in the event of exceptional circumstances, however NOT in the event that trainer is in transit or arrives
without any notification of the cancelation (via telephone call).

Additional Fees and Charges

Failure to notify trainer of cancelled session 24 hours prior to session (via telephone) $20 AUD inclusive GST (some

lenience maybe given in the event of an emergency or unavoidable situation. However, this fee will be charged

regardless of the circumstance if the trainer is not notified before they are travelling to or at the appointment)
Replacement of certificate/statement of attainment or issuance while progressing $30 USD inclusive GST
Replacement of certificate/statement of attainment or issuance after enrolment ends $30 USD inclusive GST
All participants are given two (2) opportunities to be reassessed without further payment required. On the occasion
where participants are unable to demonstrate competency after two (2) re-assessment attempts they should speak to
their trainer about further opportunities to complete the unit. Any further submissions required will incur a charge of
$30 USD per attempt.

Cancellation

$250 USD of Student fees is an administration, non-refundable fee.

Should a student wish to cancel their enrolment at any time they must advise QTS staff in writing. The student will then be
provided with a ‘Course Cancellation Request Form’ which is to be completed and returned to QTS. The application to cancel
will be reviewed by the QTS Managing Director and the student will be advised of the outcome within five (5) working days.
Requests for cancellation after fourteen (14) working days from enrolment will only be granted for exceptional circumstances
such as long-term illness.

Should a student wish to cancel or withdraw within fourteen (14) working days from enrolment any fee exceeding the $250 USD
non-refundable enrolment fee will be refundable, providing all materials have been returned “as new” and no units have been
completed. “As new” means undamaged, unmarked and unmodified in any way (including folded corners for printed materials).

QTS will not refund any fees and charges paid by or for the student if the student wishes to cancel their enrolment after fourteen

(14) working days from commencement of enrolment.

Should QTS cancel the training agreement, a fair and reasonable refund will be granted if fees are paid in advance. Charges will
be incurred for administration and services provided prior to cancellation.

Deferment

Deferment of training can be negotiated. Should a student wish to defer their training they must advise QTS staff in writing. The
student will be provided with a ‘Course Deferment Request Form’ which is to be completed and returned to QTS. The
application to defer will be reviewed by the QTS Managing Director and the student will be advised of the outcome within five
(5) working days.

Students may apply for a maximum of one (1) deferral during their enrolment.

Extension

Enrolments are current for 2 years unless an extension or deferment is applied for.

Applications for extension must be submitted no later than five (5) working days before the student’s enrolment expiry date.
Applications submitted after the student’s enrolment expiry date will not be accepted.

Students may apply for a maximum of one (1) extension during their enrolment. The maximum time granted for an extension is 5
six (6) months.
Should a student wish to apply for an extension they must advise QTS staff in writing. The student will then be provided with a
‘Course Extension Request Form’ which is to be completed and returned to QTS five (5) working days prior to the student’s
enrolment expiry. The application for extension will be reviewed by the QTS Managing Director and the student will be advised
of the outcome within five (5) working days.

1 Please Note: “Enrolment” in this context is defined by QTS as the date that your registration into your select course has been
completed. Once the registration is complete students are notified via a welcome email.

Should a student’s enrolment expire without completing all of the units within their course or applying for an extension and the
student wishes to complete the course, the student will be required to re-enrol in the course and pay the associated course fees.
Alternatively, the student may be issued with a statement of attainment for the units they have completed.

Refunds

Fee for Service Students

Should a student wish to cancel or withdraw within fourteen (14) working days any fee exceeding the $250 USD non-
refundable enrolment fee will be refundable, providing all materials have been returned as new and no units have been
completed.

QTS will not refund any fees and charges paid by or for the student if the student wishes to cancel their enrolment after fourteen

(14) working days from commencement of enrolment.

Should QTS cancel the training agreement, a fair and reasonable refund will be granted if fees are paid in advance. Charges will
be incurred for administration and services provided prior to cancellation.

No refund is available to students who remain enrolled and do not progress. Should a student decide not to continue with their
course they must notify QTS of their intention to withdraw or defer. Enrolments are current for 1 ½ years unless an extension or
deferment is applied for.
