Aviation Security Awareness – ½ Day

INTRODUCTION

This Half day Course available either in the classroom or online provides a
general introduction to the role of AVSEC (Aviation Security) within the
Aviation System

The Aviation Industry is an attractive target for terrorist and criminals and all
staff working in the industry need to be well aware of different threats and how
we can play a role to either support prevention or to know how to react in case
of a security incident.

Whilst there are designated staff and managers which take care of aviation
security. Security is the responsibility of everybody and the more people who
are involved in this process, the better is our chance of preventing incidents.

Security awareness training remains the best way to ensure people are aware
of the threats and risks.

Everyone who is not directly involved in Security from the Accountable


Manager (AM) to members of Operation and Ramp Services including
Maintenance.
