Assignment #1

The question to this assignment is why I want to become a teacher. The reason behind

this question will have to take back time when I was a junior at my high school. First off, I would

say first that I was one of the IEP (Individualized Education Plan) students at the time where I

needed further accommodations from my education. One of my special education teachers asked

me if I want to be part of a college program where I can anticipate the education program of a

particular university. That said, I did join the program in my senior year of high school where I

participated at the University of Las Vegas.

During the program, one of the staff members asked the same question from this

assignment. That question reads, “Why are you interested in becoming a teacher?” I responded

formally with my own words in which I’ll rephrase for this assignment. The main purpose for a

teacher is to lecture learners on a topic that will captivate the needs of their education. To

educate a student, you need a significant topic that you’re capable of presenting to your learners.

I know it takes effort and time to master a topic that you personally want to lecture. For this

particular answer, I want to assure my students that I have good source material for them to

understand what they want to know. In addition, I heard a record of teachers departing from their

own city to another because of the ratio of schools with the level of education. It shows in Las

Vegas and Nevada that we have the lowest education system from any other state of the United

States. The only reason that I think of is the fact that these new generations of students are
turning down their own education for a particular reason. I can see their view of neglecting

education, but I want to say to those new generations that they’ll need it personally if they want

to start a career. You’ll need your specific education so you can reach out to any kind of job or

affiliation that they want. Without education, there is no future in your career. That’s what I said

when I was delivering my answer to the programmer, and that’s to step up my education career

so I can learn more about being a teacher. After what I can do to accomplish my goals, I can

fulfill a career of being a teacher because I want to teach something in my own presentation.

To summarize my answer to this particular assignment, the reason why I want to become

one is that I need to learn to become a teacher with greater experiences for the future. I’ll need to

embrace my learners that they need to know the significance of my projections of each topic.

Just like all of my teachers who quoted to me, I need to get a bigger future for my career so I can

make greater contributions to my education. Just so you remember like all human beings, all

teachers and students are best friends. That’s a promise that I’ll never forget.
