1.2 Connect to TripMate
1) Insert USB storage (e.g. USB Disk or HDD) to the USB port on the TripMate.
▲Note: TripMate supports NTFS/FAT16/FAT32 formatted hard disk but does not support USB hub with 2 or
more USB drives.

▲Note: Please make sure your iOS device is connected to your TripMate, otherwise you cannot access the USB
storage device.
Now you can access the data from your USB Storage under My WiFi Disk. If you tap on My Device (bottom right),
it will lead you to the file management page of your iOS device.

▲Note: Up to 5 devices can connect to the TripMate and share media at the same time.

Chapter 2 Media Sharing
Here you can view the pictures stored on the USB storage device:
Click Share, you can share your picture with your friends on Internet.

2.2 Play Music
You can click to play the last song, click to play the next song or click to change the
playing mode.

▲Note: If the app cannot play the formatted video directly, please download a 3rd party player which can play
other types of video formats. Hold the file for 3 seconds to open a window to choose a 3rd party player.

Chapter 3 System Tools
Your Apple device can also access the internet via the HooToo TripMate app.
1. Tap on Setting
2. Select under Internet Access > Wireless Access, then choose the existing SSID and connect.

3. Enter the password, click Join

3.2 Transfer Files
1) Tap on Manage, select the files you want to transfer to your iOS device, click Download
2) A window will pop up, tap once on “Local” and choose the directory where you want the files to be.Click OK to
start transferring

3) Here you can check the transfer status.

▲Note: A message will pop up to notify you if you transfer a file that already exists. Please note that if you
transfer a duplicate photo or image from Camera Roll, then you will not receive this message. This is because
iOS will automatically rename files from Camera Roll .

2) Click Manage, select the files you want to transfer to your USB storage, click Upload
▲Note: The files in Camera Roll cannot be uploaded due to iOS security policy
3) A window will open, tap once on “USBDisk1_Volume1” and choose the directory where you want the files to be
stored. Click OK to start transferring.

Now you can check the files on your USB storage.

Insert a USB device into the USB port of the TripMate. Open the HooToo TripMate app, select one file and click
to begin to cast
▲Note: Please make sure your Chrome Cast is wirelessly connected to the TripMate and that the TripMate is
connected to the Internet.

Note: if you don‟t find the button at the first time, please change the View to list.

3.4 App Version
Click About to view the current version of your HooToo TripMate app.
