The Germanic peoples who invaded into roman lands were deeply influenced by roman
culture, Centralized government, Latin remained language of church and law.

2. Not an SAQ- How was the SPREAD of Christianity in western Europe like the SPREAD
of Buddhism in China. List 4 facts.

The prospect of relative freedom from male control drew substantial numbers of women to both
Buddhist and Christian nunneries.

System of taxes were still used.

The Cristian religion also remained as a significant part of cultural and political legacies.

Military org remained quite the same in Western Europe

3. SAQ- What factors accounted for Western Europe’s rapid rise after 1000CE.?
Western Europe’s political and agricultural systems made it possible to great
developments to occur. Eventually after 1000, European politics began to mold into
functional divided systems that still exist. A shared religion allowed for Western
Europe to be unified culturally. With Christianity as a central region, Western Europe
became unified and political systems were organized around the religion.
