What is Mastery?
Mastery learning is rooted in the belief that all learners can succeed
given the right input, support and practice. The mastery approach is a
teaching strategy that aims to ensure that learners reach a prescribed
level of understanding, being secure in their knowledge of a concept or
competent in a skill, before moving on to the next element of learning.
