GOD PLANNED FOR YOU

Sunday 1st August, 2021
Pastor David Omongole

“For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD, "plans to prosper
you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” (Jeremiah
29:11 NIV)

As you are planning for your life, you must remember that God Himself has a
plan for you. Your own planning is looking into the realm of the spirit to see the
things God planned for you; and then you implement them in your life.
Hallelujah!

Even as the Body of Christ, God planned for us; and it’s very important for us
to have an understanding of what He intended for His church. Otherwise one
could be doing church in a way that diverges from God’s plan. He may be using
the power of God and it seems to be working; yet he is not walking in the
purpose of God. That’s why we must always go back to the blueprint and see
the glory that God purposed for the church.

Paul prayed for the Ephesians saying, “The eyes of your understanding being
enlightened; that ye may know what is the hope of his calling, and what the
riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints, And what is the exceeding
greatness of his power to us-ward who believe…” (Ephesians 1:18-19 KJV)
Hallelujah! You received something when you believed child of God.

The Word teaches us something peculiar about believing; you don't believe to
stay, you believe to become. John 1:12 KJV says “…as many as received him,
to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe
on his name:” How does one receive Jesus? By believing on His name. That
day when you believed on Jesus Christ, you became a Son of God; and God
planned something for His children. Hallelujah!

As you fellowship with the Word of God and His Spirit; He will decode for you
the good plans He prepared for you. He will guide you on the steps to take day
by day, month by month, year by year, and season by season. He will reveal to
you the good works that He prearranged for you to walk in. Glory to God!

CONFESSION

I’ve been born into the glorious inheritance of God's children. Hallelujah! The
eyes of my spirit are open to see God’s blueprint for my life. As I behold the
great and marvelous things that God planned for me; faith is stirred up in heart
to walk in them. I’m divinely helped by the Holy Spirit to make decisions and
take actions that are in sync with God’s divine purpose for my life. Hallelujah!

Ephesians 1:11-14 AMP

“In Him we also were made [God's] heritage (portion) and we obtained an
inheritance; for we had been foreordained (chosen and appointed beforehand) in
accordance with His purpose, Who works out everything in agreement with the
counsel and design of His [own] will, So that we who first hoped in Christ [who
first put our confidence in Him have been destined and appointed to] live for the
praise of His glory!

In Him you also who have heard the Word of Truth, the glad tidings (Gospel) of
your salvation, and have believed in and adhered to and relied on Him, were
stamped with the seal of the long-promised Holy Spirit. That [Spirit] is the
guarantee of our inheritance [the firstfruits, the pledge and foretaste, the down
payment on our heritage], in anticipation of its full redemption and our
acquiring [complete] possession of it--to the praise of His glory.”
Ephesians 2:10 AMP

“For we are God's [own] handiwork (His workmanship), recreated in Christ

Jesus, [born anew] that we may do those good works which God predestined
(planned beforehand) for us [taking paths which He prepared ahead of time],
that we should walk in them [living the good life which He prearranged and
made ready for us to live].”

THE SPIRIT OF WISDOM AND REVELATION

Monday 2nd August, 2021
Pastor David Omongole

“Wherefore I also, after I heard of your faith in the Lord Jesus, and love unto
all the saints, Cease not to give thanks for you, making mention of you in my
prayers; That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give
unto you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him:”
(Ephesians 1:15-17 KJV)

Apostle Paul prayed for the Ephesians that God would give them the Spirit of
wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him. That word “wisdom” is
translated from the Greek “sophia” which means insight into reality; insight into
this new life God has given us in Christ.

And “revelation” is translated from “apokalupsis” which means to unveil; to lay

bare. This is God’s desire for His children; He wants each of us to have
revelation in the knowledge of Him (that is accurate knowledge; participatory
knowledge; knowledge that you can work with).

Apostle Paul tells us what happens when you are filled with the Spirit of
wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of God; He says “The eyes of your
understanding being enlightened; that ye may know what is the hope of his
calling, and what the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints, And
what is the exceeding greatness of his power to us-ward who believe…”
(Ephesians 1:18-19 KJV)

What does he mean by “The eyes of your understanding”? He's dealing with the
eyes of your spirit because understanding is not an entity. The eyes of your
spirit being enlightened that you may know (by revelation) the hope of His
calling, the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints, and the exceeding
greatness of His power given to us who believe. Hallelujah!

God wants you to understand these three things; and as a child of God, you were
sealed with the Holy Spirit when you believed. That same Spirit is the Spirit of
wisdom and revelation. As you fellowship with Him, the eyes of your spirit will
be flooded with light; and you will understand why God called you, the
inheritance of the saints, and the power you have been given to function with.
Hallelujah!

CONFESSION

The Spirit of wisdom and revelation dwells in me. He gives me divine insight
into reality and He unveils the Truth of God’s Word to me. Hallelujah! As I
commune with Him, the eyes of my spirit are flooded with light. I receive
supernatural understanding of the hope of God’s calling upon my life, my
inheritance in Christ and the power God has given me to function with.
Hallelujah!

Isaiah 11:2-3 AMP

“And the Spirit of the Lord shall rest upon Him--the Spirit of wisdom and
understanding, the Spirit of counsel and might, the Spirit of knowledge and of
the reverential and obedient fear of the Lord-- And shall make Him of quick

THE EYES OF YOUR UNDERSTANDING

Tuesday 3rd August, 2021
Pastor David Omongole

“…making mention of you in my prayers; That the God of our Lord Jesus
Christ, the Father of glory, may give unto you the spirit of wisdom and
revelation in the knowledge of him: The eyes of your understanding being
enlightened; that ye may know what is the hope of his calling, and what the
riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints,” (Ephesians 1:16-18 KJV)

This portion of Scripture reveals to us a very important prayer made by Apostle

Paul. He says ‘the eyes of your understanding being enlightened’. This refers to
the eyes of your spirit. You can see, hear, talk, feel and smell with your spirit
just like you do with your physical senses.

God desires that the eyes of your spirit are enlightened; so that you may become
aware of the hope of His calling. He wants you to understand His purpose for
your life. He wants you to know by revelation the plans He has for your life.
Praise the Lord!

God also wants you to know the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the
saints. Hallelujah! The Father has already given you an inheritance and He
wants you to become aware of it. He wants you to behold it with the eyes of
your spirit. All the blessings that the Father has given you are spiritual, which is
why you may not see them with your physical eyes. When the eyes of your
spirit are opened, you are able to see these blessings and to translate them into
the physical realm by the authority God has given you as a royal priest.

And just like Apostle Paul made this prayer for the Ephesians, you can pray it
for yourself and receive the results. As you pray, the eyes of your spirit shall be
enlightened to see what God has put on your inside. For example, you may be
looking out for a job yet God has given you the ability to start a company and
employ many. When you pray, the Lord will give you clear direction.
Hallelujah!

Take time to pray and behold the things the Father has freely given you. Look to
see the end of the assignments that He has set out for you. Look to see the end
of the vision that He has laid upon your heart. Look to see the step by step
directions that He gives you along the way. Then hold on to what you see by
faith and translate it into manifestation by declaring Rhema and acting on His
Word.

CONFESSION

The eyes of my spirit are enlightened daily to know the hope of God’s calling
for me in Christ. The Spirit of the Lord guides me to see things from His
perspective rather than from a natural standpoint. My eyes are open to behold
the things that the Father has freely given me and His vision for my life. I take a
hold of my inheritance by faith and bring it to manifestation in Jesus’ name,
Amen.

but the spirit which is of God; that we might know the things that are freely
given to us of God.”

THE GLORIOUS CALL

Wednesday 4th August, 2021
Pastor David Omongole

“For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the

image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren.
Moreover whom he did predestinate, them he also called: and whom he
called, them he also justified: and whom he justified, them he also glorified.”
(Romans 8:29-30 KJV)

God predestinated the whole world; how do I know? The Scripture says God
“…will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the
truth.” (1 Timothy 2:4 KJV) God’s will is for everybody to be saved; every
person that ever came into the world, God had a plan for them to be saved and
to be conformed to the image of His Son.

“Moreover whom he did predestinate, them he also called:” God predestinated

everybody and He followed it up with a call. But some people have not
answered the call yet; and that’s why we preach the Gospel. We announce the
Good news everywhere because God’s plan is to bring all men to the class of
Jesus; that is to be His children, that Jesus might be the firstborn among many
brethren.

When He says “whom he called, them he also justified, them he also glorified”
He’s talking about those who answered the call. When a man receives Jesus
Christ as Lord, He has answered the call of God; and so he is justified and
glorified. How Beautiful!

The call that God has given us is a call to glory! Hebrews 2:9-10 KJV says “…
we see Jesus, who was made a little lower than the angels for the suffering of
death, crowned with glory and honour; that he by the grace of God should
taste death for every man. For it became him, for whom are all things, and by
whom are all things, in bringing many sons unto glory, to make the captain of
their salvation perfect through sufferings.” Hallelujah!
Jesus Christ accomplished what He came to do, He tasted death for every man
and so He has brought many sons to glory; that glory that He had with the
Father before the world existed; the glory in which He couldn’t die. The Bible
shows us that it only became possible for Him to die after He was made a little
lower than the angels. We died together with Him and God raised us up together
with Him into glory. Hallelujah!

The Father has set us apart and glorified us; now He wants us to walk in that
glory. As you study the Word of God and fellowship with the Holy Spirit, you
discover more of the glory of the Lord; and are transfigured into the same image
from glory to glory. Hallelujah!

CONFESSION

God predestinated the whole world and He called each one of us. How gracious!
I answered the call of God through faith in Jesus Christ. Now I have been
justified and glorified. I am set apart for a life of glory. Hallelujah! God has
given me all things that pertain to life and godliness through the knowledge of
Him who called me to glory and virtue. As I study the Word of God daily, I am
transfigured from glory to glory by the Holy Spirit. Blessed be God forever
more!

THE HEAVENLY INVITATION

Thursday 5th August, 2021
Pastor David Omongole

“Wherefore, holy brethren, partakers of the heavenly calling, consider the

Apostle and High Priest of our profession, Christ Jesus;” (Hebrews 3:1 KJV)

We are partakers of the heavenly calling; participants in the heavenly calling.

The word “calling” (Greek “klēsis”) used here means “invitation”. So we are
partakers of the heavenly invitation. Glory to God! If the invitation that we have
as the church of Jesus Christ is a heavenly one, then it must have a heavenly
purpose; and we’ve got to live up to that purpose. Hallelujah!

With this consciousness, you will do the work of soul winning with a lot of
reverence. Because if you are inviting somebody to Christ, that’s a heavenly
calling; you're not doing your own thing, you are fulfilling heaven’s vision.
Hallelujah!

All of us who have been included into the Body of Christ are now partakers of
the heavenly calling. And throughout the epistles, the apostles exhort us to walk
in the fullness of the calling of God to us; both as individuals and as the entire
body of Christ.

In Ephesians 4, Paul said “I… urge you to walk in a manner worthy of the
calling to which you have been called, with all humility and gentleness, with
patience, bearing with one another in love, eager to maintain the unity of the
Spirit in the bond of peace.” (Ephesians 4:1-3 ESV)

Peter also said “…give diligence to make your calling and election sure…” (2
Peter 1:10 KJV) The Message version says “…confirm God's invitation to
you, his choice of you….” Hallelujah! Get to know the hope of God’s calling
upon you and make full proof of it.

CONFESSION

I am a partaker of the glorious calling of God in Christ Jesus; a participant in the

heavenly invitation. I fulfill the vision of heaven by preaching the Gospel of
Peace and winning souls to the Kingdom of God. Giving all diligence, I add to
my faith excellence, knowledge, self-control, patience, godliness, brotherly
kindness, and love. Therefore I walk in a manner that is worthy of the Lord,
fully pleasing to Him, bearing fruit in every good work and steadily growing
and increasing in and by the knowledge of God. Hallelujah!

ye shall neither be barren nor unfruitful in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus
Christ.
But he that lacketh these things is blind, and cannot see afar off, and hath

THE MARK
Friday 6th August, 2021
Pastor David Omongole

“I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ
Jesus.” (Philippians 3:14 KJV)

Look at what Apostle Paul thought about the calling of God; he referred to it as
“the high calling”. He says “I press toward the mark for the prize of the high
calling of God in Christ Jesus.” So there is a mark; and every child of God
should aim at hitting the exact mark that God set out for them.

When you talk about the church of Jesus Christ for example; that word “church”
(Greek “ekklēsia”) means “an assembly”, we are called out into a particular
assembly, that’s why we cannot really do church God's way without assembling
together as brethren. Glory to God!

In His letter to the Colossians, Apostle Paul said “we labour ‘that we may
present every man perfect in Christ Jesus’” (Colossians 1:28 KJV) We preach
and proclaim Christ, warning and instructing everyone in all wisdom
(comprehensive insight into the ways and purposes of God), that we may
present them perfect in Christ; that we may bring them to a place where they are
hitting the mark accurately.

It’s not enough to be close to the reason why God called you child of God;
you’ve got to hit the exact mark. It’s not enough to be close to the purpose of
God for your life, you’ve got to fully walk in it. Whatever you do; whether it is
ministry, marriage, parenting, work or business; resolve to do it in the exact way
that God intended; without any contradiction. And you shall see His glory
manifest all around you. Hallelujah!
CONFESSION

As the church of Jesus Christ, we have been called out into an assembly. Glory
to God! I gladly participate in the festal gatherings of the saints. Hallelujah!
God has set out a specific mark for me, and I’m aiming for it. As I listen to the
Word of Christ, I am perfected to a place where I accurately hit the mark. I
resolve to run my life, ministry, marriage, family, work and business in the
exact way that God intended. Therefore the Glory of God is manifest all around
me in Jesus’ name, Amen.

THE HOPE OF HIS CALLING I

Saturday 7th August, 2021
Pastor David Omongole

“Wherefore I also, after I heard of your faith in the Lord Jesus, and love unto
all the saints, Cease not to give thanks for you, making mention of you in my
prayers; That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give
unto you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him: The
eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that ye may know what is the
hope of his calling, and what the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the
saints,” (Ephesians 1:15-18 KJV)

The believers at Ephesus were walking in faith and love but they hadn't yet
come to the place that they had to walk in as the glorious church of Jesus Christ.
That’s why Apostle Paul prayed for them to understand the hope of God’s
calling. Similarly, you could be walking in faith and love but what are you using
the faith for? How about the love? One may be using faith to amass many things
for himself here on earth; but is that the hope of God’s calling?

Consider the church at Jerusalem; they were walking in faith, and so they had
great miracles taking place in their midst. The Bible tells us that “…by the
hands of the apostles were many signs and wonders wrought among the
people…” (Acts 5:12 KJV) They were also walking in love; they shared all
things and so none of them that lacked anything (Acts 4:32-34).

But there was a problem; they hadn’t understood the hope of God's calling for
them. Jesus had told them that “…ye shall receive power, after that the Holy
Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in
Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of
the earth.” (Acts 1:8 KJV) But they weren’t fulfilling this call. Before long,
they were so broke that they were helped by the church in Macedonia whose
members weren’t even wealthy. Why? They were not walking in the path that
God had prearranged for them.

This is why it’s expedient for you to understand why God called you and to live
in accordance with divine purpose. Everything you do should propagate the
calling of God upon your life. Hallelujah!

CONFESSION

The Spirit of God teaches me to rightly use my faith in the Lord Jesus and love
for God and the saints to the glory of His Holy Name. Hallelujah! As I walk in
intimate fellowship with God, I am continually filled with the Spirit of wisdom
and revelation in the knowledge of God: and the eyes of my spirit are
enlightened to know the hope of His calling. I daily walk in divine purpose;
doing only those things that propagate the call of God upon my life. Hallelujah!

Neither was there any among them that lacked: for as many as were possessors
of lands or houses sold them, and brought the prices of the things that were
sold,”

THE HOPE OF HIS CALLING II

Sunday 8th August, 2021
Pastor David Omongole

“Now therefore ye are no more strangers and foreigners, but fellowcitizens

with the saints, and of the household of God; And are built upon the
foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ himself being the chief
corner stone; In whom all the building fitly framed together groweth unto an
holy temple in the Lord: In whom ye also are builded together for an
habitation of God through the Spirit.” (Ephesians 2:19-22 KJV)

This is reason the church is built up; this is the reason we preach the Word of
God and win people to Christ. We are being built up into a habitation of God
through the Spirit. Hallelujah!

Ephesians 2:20-21 AMP says “You are built upon the foundation of the
apostles and prophets with Christ Jesus Himself the chief Cornerstone. In
Him the whole structure is joined (bound, welded) together harmoniously,
and it continues to rise (grow, increase) into a holy temple in the Lord [a
sanctuary dedicated, consecrated, and sacred to the presence of the Lord].”

Jesus is building His church; and we are working together with Him; binding
and welding; adding brick upon brick; adding more souls to the Kingdom.
Hallelujah! The building continues to rise into a holy temple in the Lord; a
temple in which God is at home. That shows you that God wants to express
Himself through the church. Hallelujah!

As God’s vessels; we are His stewards; we are serving Him to the world just
like waiters and waitresses serve in a restaurant. This is what the Father had in
mind when He called us; that the world may see Him through us (the church)
just as it was with Jesus, who testified saying “…he that hath seen me hath
seen the Father…” (John 14:9 KJV) This is the hope of God’s calling for you
in Christ Jesus. Hallelujah!

CONFESSION

I am being built up together with other saints into a habitation of God by His
Spirit. The Lord has chosen me to work with Him in building His church. I
preach the Gospel diligently; and bring forth the precious fruit of souls. Glory to
God! The world sees the Father through me, as I faithfully serve Him to them
according to the grace that I have received in Christ Jesus. I am the expression
of God’s fullness everywhere I go. Glory Hallelujah!

ACCESS TO THE FATHER

Monday 9th August, 2021
Pastor David Omongole

“For it is through Him that we both [whether far off or near] now have an
introduction (access) by one [Holy] Spirit to the Father [so that we are able to
approach Him].” (Ephesians 2:18 AMP)

Through Christ we both (the Jews and Gentiles) have access by one Spirit to the
Father. Hallelujah! The Holy Spirit brought the presence of the Father to you;
that Father that created the universe; that Father to whom Jesus said, “…
Father, glorify Me together with Yourself, with the glory which I had with
You before the world was.” (John 17:5 NASB)

By the Spirit of God we now have access to that Father. He’s right inside you
child of God. The reason some believers have methods by which they “seek” to
access the Father is that they don't recognize their oneness with Him. After you
have received the Holy Ghost, you are one with God; you're no longer a
stranger to Him and He is no longer a stranger to you.

Ephesians 2:19 KJV says “Now therefore ye are no more strangers and
foreigners, but fellowcitizens with the saints, and of the household of God;”
You are part of the household of God; you are a citizen of Zion, the city of God;
that’s where you belong. Glory to God!

You have come to the Father; you abide with Him now “…for he hath said, I
will never leave thee, nor forsake thee.” (Hebrews 13:5 KJV) Live with this
consciousness child of God.

CONFESSION
Through Jesus Christ I have access to the Father by the Spirit of God.
Hallelujah! I am one with the Lord in my spirit. The Creator of the universe
lives in me. He will never leave me nor forsake me. He abides with me
eternally. Hallelujah! I have come to the throne room; now I am free to enjoy
intimate fellowship with God my Father. Hallelujah! I manifest the nature,
character and glory of God in every area of my life because I’m a participant in
the Godhead. Hallelujah!

THE DIETY IN BODILY FORM

Tuesday 10th August, 2021
Pastor David Omongole

“For in Christ all the fullness of the Deity lives in bodily form,” (Colossians
2:9 NIV)

Before the coming of Jesus, God did not have a body. No wonder 1 Timothy
3:16 KJV tells us that “…without controversy great is the mystery of
godliness: God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of
angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into
glory.”

God was manifest in the flesh; God appeared; it was a mystery! Prior to that, the
angels interacted with God and carried out His orders, but they never saw Him
in His Glory. Guess who God chose to reveal Himself to first; men. That day
when Jesus was born of Mary, God had body. Because Jesus was God indeed.
Hallelujah! John 1:1 KJV says “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word
was with God, and the Word was God.”

And then verse 14 says “…the Word became flesh, and tabernacled among us.
And we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full
of grace and of truth.” (John 1:14 MKJV) As Jesus grew up, His body grew
with God in it. Then He was crucified, He died, and rose again. When Jesus
ascended to heaven; He went up with His body and sat on the throne.
Hallelujah!

For the first time, the angels could distinctly point and say “God is right there.”
Some people think there is a small chair besides the throne of God where Jesus
sat; no! The Word doesn’t say that Jesus sat on the right hand “side” of God.
“…he sat at the right hand of God.” (Mark 16:19 NIV) The right hand is a
place of favour.

So when we get to heaven, we will not see God, Jesus and the Holy Spirit as
different entities; they are one. The moment you see Jesus, you have seen the
fullness of the Godhead bodily; look no further. Hallelujah!

CONFESSION

Without controversy, great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifest in the
flesh, justified in the Spirit and seen of angels. Hallelujah! I affirm that Jesus
Christ is God manifest in the flesh. He overcame sin, sickness, destruction,
death and all the weaknesses of the flesh for me. Through faith in Him, I am
now a participant in the Godhead; the Father, Son and the Holy Spirit dwell in
me. Hallelujah!

PARTICIPANTS IN THE GODHEAD

Wednesday 11th August, 2021
Pastor David Omongole

“For in Him the whole fullness of Deity (the Godhead) continues to dwell in
bodily form [giving complete expression of the divine nature]. And you are in
Him, made full and having come to fullness of life [in Christ you too are
filled with the Godhead--Father, Son and Holy Spirit--and reach full spiritual
stature]. And He is the Head of all rule and authority [of every angelic
principality and power].” (Colossians 2:9-10 AMP)

We’ve learnt that the fullness of the Godhead dwells in the body of Jesus Christ;
and that is a great heavenly revelation. But when you look at the context of our
theme verse, Apostle Paul was not talking about heaven. In the verses before
and after, he was dealing with the church. So he brought in the heavenly
revelation to explain something about the church.

Ephesians 1:22-23 NIV says concerning Jesus Christ that “…God placed all
things under his feet and appointed him to be head over everything for the
church, which is his body, the fullness of him who fills everything in every
way.” The church is the body of Christ. So when He says “…in him dwelleth
all the fulness of the Godhead bodily.” (Colossians 2:9 KJV) He is telling us
that “In the church dwells all the fullness of the Godhead bodily.” Hallelujah!

Under the Old Covenant, the children of Israel called God by a particular name
depending on what they required. If they needed provision, they called Him
Jehovah-Jireh. If they needed healing, they called Him Jehovah-Rapha. If they
needed peace, they called Him Jehovah-Shalom. Think of all those revelations
of God; He is now fully tabernacled in the church. “For in Christ all the
fullness of the Deity lives in bodily form,” (Colossians 2:9 NIV)
He is telling the whole world that “If you're looking for healing, go to the
church. If you're looking for protection, go to the church…” No wonder in 1
Corinthians chapter 5 when Apostle Paul talked about putting away a certain
kind of fellow from the church; he called it “delivering them to Satan for the
destruction of the flesh”. That shows you that when somebody is not a part of
the church, he is committed to the devil. This is why we preach the Gospel; we
want everybody to come into the same fellowship with us. Hallelujah!

Live with this consciousness; you are filled with the Godhead--Father, Son and
Holy Spirit and He wants to express Himself through you in every way; in your
eyes, in your speech and in your actions. Hallelujah!

CONFESSION

I am blessed to be a participant in the Godhead. Hallelujah! The virtues and

perfections of divinity are expressed through my speech, character and life to
the glory of God. As the church of Jesus Christ, we are God's answer and
solution to the challenges faced in the world today. As we preach the Gospel,
many believe and come into the same fellowship with us; that wonderful
fellowship that we have with the Father and the Son through the precious Holy
Spirit. Blessed be God forever more.

BLESSED WITH FAITHFUL ABRAHAM

Thursday 12th August, 2021
Pastor David Omongole

“And the scripture, foreseeing that God would justify the heathen through
faith, preached before the gospel unto Abraham, saying, In thee shall all
nations be blessed. So then they which be of faith are blessed with faithful
Abraham.” (Galatians 3:8-9 KJV)

In Genesis chapter 15, the Lord made a covenant with Abram: “…he said unto
him, Take me an heifer of three years old, and a she goat of three years old,
and a ram of three years old, and a turtledove, and a young pigeon.” (Genesis
15:9 KJV) Abraham took the heifer, she goat and ram and cut them in the
middle.

This was a custom that was known to Abram; if you were going to make a
covenant with somebody, you took an animal and cut it into two and then the
two of you walked in between the severed pieces of that animal. Let’s say you
agreed to give your daughter in marriage to a man and he would give you gold
in kind. The two of you would walk through the cut animal as an assurance to
all the witnesses that you would stay true to the covenant; and that if you didn’t,
then what happened to the animal should happen to you.

While Abram waited to cut this covenant with God, a deep sleep fell upon him.
“And it came to pass, that, when the sun went down, and it was dark, behold a
smoking furnace, and a burning lamp that passed between those pieces.”
(Genesis 15:17 KJV)

A smoking furnace; that’s God. On Mount Sinai, when Moses led the people
out of the camp to meet God, the Bible says “All of Mount Sinai was covered
with smoke, because the LORD had come down on it in fire. The smoke went
up like the smoke of a furnace…” (Exodus 19:18 GNB) And the burning lamp
was Jesus; who said in John 8:12 KJV that “I am the light…” Hallelujah!

So Jesus stood in for Abram and cut the covenant with the Father. The
implication of that was that if Abram did not keep the covenant, what happened
to the animals would happen to Jesus. But the blessing of God staying true to
the covenant would rest on Abraham and his seed.

As you study on, you find that shortly after that, the descendants of Abraham
were not fulfilling their part of the promise; which was to circumcise every
male child on the 8th day (Genesis 17:7-13). So Jesus came in to take up the
punishment; that's why He died on the cross the way He did. And now we have
become partakers of the blessing of Abraham through faith in Jesus Christ.
Hallelujah!

You are blessed with faithful Abraham, to whom God said: “In thee shall all
nations be blessed.” Hallelujah! You are blessed to bless the nations child of
God. Walk in this Light!

CONFESSION

Through my union with Jesus Christ, I am the seed of Abraham and an heir
according to the promise. Hallelujah! Jesus Christ is the propitiation for my
sins; I have been made righteous by faith and not works; now I am a partaker of
the new covenant. God has blessed me with all spiritual blessings in heavenly
places in Christ. Praise the Lord! I manifest these blessings in my life, ministry,
family, work and finances. Hallelujah!! I dispense God’s innumerable blessings
to nations all around me in Jesus’ name, Amen.

was doing for him, and that was the turning point. He trusted God to set him
right instead of trying to be right on his own."

Exodus 4:24-26 AMP

him [made him acutely and almost fatally ill]. [Now apparently he had failed to
circumcise one of his sons, his wife being opposed to it; but seeing his life in

cast it to touch [Moses'] feet, and said, Surely a husband of blood you are to me!
When He let [Moses] alone [to recover], Zipporah said, A husband of blood are
you because of the circumcision.”

BORN INTO THE PROMISE

Friday 13th August, 2021
Pastor David Omongole

“But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a

peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called
you out of darkness into his marvellous light:” (1 Peter 2:9 KJV)

This is a promise that God had made to the children of Israel in the Old
Testament; but it was never fulfilled in their time. That’s because the promise
was dependent on a condition the Lord had given them. He said “…if ye will
obey my voice indeed, and keep my covenant, then ye shall be a peculiar
treasure unto me above all people: for all the earth is mine: And ye shall be
unto me a kingdom of priests, and an holy nation….” (Exodus 19:5-6 KJV)

However, they didn't always obey God's voice, and they didn't always keep His
covenant; so they never ever became these beautiful things that the Lord had
promised. But when Jesus came, He fulfilled the covenant of God for us, He
obeyed God's voice for us; and now He has made us partakers of the promise of
God. 2 Corinthians 1:20 KJV says “…all the promises of God in him are yea,
and in him Amen, unto the glory of God by us.” Hallelujah!

Did you know that Jesus got something because of obeying the voice of God?
Oh yes He did! The Bible says “…he humbled himself, and became obedient
unto death, even the death of the cross. Wherefore God also hath highly
exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name:” (Philippians
2:8-9 KJV) Praise the Lord Jesus! Now He has made us partakers of what He
got for obeying the voice of God.
He said, “I'll not have this alone, I will share it with the church.” Hallelujah!
Bearing this in mind, Peter said “…you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood,
a dedicated nation, [God's] own purchased, special people…” (1 Peter 2:9
AMP) The promise of God has become our present day reality in Christ. We
were born into this glorious inheritance by believing on Jesus Christ. It's no
longer about keeping the law as it was in Exodus; Jesus accomplished it for us.
Hallelujah!

CONFESSION

I have become a partaker of all the promises of God because my Lord Jesus
Christ fulfilled the law on my behalf. God has sealed me with His Precious
Spirit, who is the guarantee of my inheritance in Christ. Hallelujah! I have
received the gift of eternal life and the full package of righteousness. I’m not on
a journey to the Promised Land; I have arrived. Glory to God! I’m living in the
promise now. Hallelujah!

A CHOSEN GENERATION
Saturday 14th August, 2021
Pastor David Omongole

“But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a

peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called
you out of darkness into his marvellous light: God has a plan for you; a
purpose for your life.” (1 Peter 2:9 KJV)

You are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a peculiar

people. You are; not you will be; not you are becoming; you are a chosen
generation, you are chosen out of the world. He’s not talking about an age group
for example people from 30 years to 40 years; no. He's dealing with a breed of
people.

You can be the same age with somebody else on earth and yet you are in
different generations. Oh yea! The church is in the generation of the world to
come. Some men may be in a certain earthly generation; but we are in a totally
different generation. Hallelujah! We are a chosen age.

Jesus said “The kingdom of heaven is like treasure hidden in a field. When a
man found it, he hid it again, and then in his joy went and sold all he had and
bought that field.” (Matthew 13:44 NIV) The kingdom of heaven is the church
of Jesus Christ. He bought the field; that is the whole world because He wanted
the treasure which is the church.

Matthew 22:14 KJV says “…many are called, but few are chosen.” Everybody
was called but those who responded are the chosen ones. Those who answered
the call became God’s choice ones; they became that treasure. Glory to God!
I’ve heard people say “We are all the same; churches, businesses, bars…” Not
at all! We are different; we are a chosen generation. We are God's special breed.

You’ve got to be conscious of this child of God; you are different. Therefore
you must think differently, you must talk differently. Romans 12:2 KJV says
“…be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of
your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect,
will of God.” Do not take the shape of this world; you are chosen.

When something is happening around; do not just think like everybody else;
you are a chosen generation. If businesses are falling off the radar, do not
imagine that yours is next. You are chosen. You are set apart for God’s glory.
Hallelujah! Meditate on this reality until it syncs.

CONFESSION

I belong to a special breed of people; a chosen generation, set apart for God’s
glory. I am not of this world; therefore I refuse to take on a worldly pattern. I
think and talk differently. Hallelujah! I position myself to hear the Word of God
and to receive revelation of Truth from the Spirit of God. Hallelujah! I am
conditioned for success and excellence. As I continually behold the glory of the
Lord in the mirror of His Word, I am transfigured from one degree of glory to
another in ever increasing splendour by the power of the Spirit. Hallelujah!

A ROYAL PRIESTHOOD
Sunday 15th August, 2021
Pastor David Omongole

“But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a

peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called
you out of darkness into his marvellous light:” (1 Peter 2:9 KJV)

You are a royal priesthood; that means king priests, a kingdom of priests. How
powerful! If a man of the Old Testament heard this, he would be surprised:
because at that time, it was impossible to be both a king and a priest. Kings
came from the tribe of Judah while priests came from the tribe of Levi. And
since a person couldn’t come from two tribes; there was no such thing as a king
priest.

But when Jesus arrived on the scene, He lived by a different set of rules. The
Bible tells us that He was “Called of God an high priest after the order of
Melchisedec.” (Hebrews 5:10 KJV) Melchizedek lived before the Old
Testament, He was both a priest and a king. Hebrews 7:1 MSG says
“Melchizedek was king of Salem and priest of the Highest God….”
Hallelujah!

Jesus came in that order; and through His death, burial and resurrection, He
gave us a right to be both kings and priests also. Revelation 1:5-6 MKJV says
“even from Jesus Christ… the Ruler of the kings of the earth. To Him who
loved us and washed us from our sins in His own blood, and made us kings
and priests to God and His Father…”

Jesus Christ; the Ruler of the kings of the earth! Who are the kings of the earth?
He's not talking about Presidents, Prime Ministers, Members of Parliament, or
LC1 leaders. He's talking about His church. Jesus is the King of kings; He is
King over the church; we are the kings. Revelation 1:6 AMP says He “…
formed us into a kingdom (a royal race)…” A race of only kings; that’s what
the Lord has made us. Hallelujah!

As a king; you make declarations and they are established. Just like
Ecclesiastes 8:4 KJV says, “Where the word of a king is, there is power…”
The words you speak come to pass. Glory to God! And then as a priest; you
offer up spiritual sacrifices to God.

Praise the Lord Jesus Christ; who has made you a king priest. Hallelujah! Now
you can talk to circumstances and you can talk to God. You talk to
circumstances as a king and you talk to God as a priest. What a wonderful
privilege!

CONFESSION

Jesus Christ is my High Priest. He has made me a royal priest after the order of
Melchizedek. I am dedicated and consecrated to offer up spiritual sacrifices
acceptable to God. Hallelujah! In Christ, I have boldness and access with
confidence to the Father; I talk to Him in prayer and He answers me.
Hallelujah! I establish the will of God on earth through faith filled declarations.
The words I speak are loaded with the Word of God; which is quick and
powerful. Therefore they come to pass to the Glory of God. Hallelujah!

GOD PERSUADES US
Monday 16th August, 2021
Pastor David Omongole

“Do not fret or have any anxiety about anything, but in every circumstance
and in everything, by prayer and petition (definite requests), with
thanksgiving, continue to make your wants known to God.” (Philippians 4:6
AMP)

At times when people would like something to happen in their lives, family,
community, nation, or ministry; they think they have to convince God to make
it happen. They pray as though God is holding back certain good things from
them; but it’s not so.

God actually wants those good things to happen more than you do. For
example, the Lord is more desirous of your healing and health than you could
ever be. 3 John 1:2 KJV says “…I wish above all things that thou mayest
prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth.” Hallelujah!

So if somebody is attacked by a sickness and they are praying about it or you

are praying with them, it’s not that you are persuading God to make them well,
no! It is God persuading them to come to a place of health; He is persuading
them to walk in the Light of His Word.

Likewise when we make intercession for nonbelievers; we are not persuading

God to do something so that they don't go to hell. Nobody was praying and
fasting for Jesus to come and save men; it was God’s initiative. The Scripture
says “…God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that
whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.”
(John 3:16 KJV)
That world that God loved is the world of sinners and He still loves it today. So
it is God persuading the world to receive Him. 1 Timothy 2:4 ESV says He “…
desires all people to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth.” This
is the reason you can stand firm in faith as you pray for nonbelievers. It is the
Father’s will for them to be saved and come to the knowledge of Truth.
Hallelujah!

I’ve heard people say “Through prayer, you can take God by the collar and
cause Him to do whatever you want Him to do.” That sounds like God doesn’t
want to do something and you’re forcing Him to do it; but it's not like that. God
delights in your prosperity; that includes your healing, your health, the
prosperity of your ministry, family, work, academics, business… name it.

Psalms 35:27 KJV says “…Let the LORD be magnified, which hath pleasure
in the prosperity of his servant.” Glory to God! With this consciousness, you
can cheerfully make your requests known to God by prayer and supplication
with thanksgiving. Hallelujah!

CONFESSION

God delights in my prosperity and health. He desires to see me excel in all

spheres of my life. Therefore I cheerfully make my requests known to Him
through prayer and supplication with thanksgiving. The Holy Spirit persuades
me to walk in the Light of God concerning my life. Hallelujah! I am convinced
that it is God’s will for all men to be saved and to come to the knowledge of
Truth. Therefore I intercede in faith for their hearts to be softened to receive the
Gospel of Salvation. And I declare the Good News to them with all boldness;
knowing that the Spirit of God is also persuading them on the inside; convicting
them to receive the Lord Jesus in their hearts. Hallelujah!

CALLED TO GLORY AND VIRTUE

Tuesday 17th August, 2021
Pastor David Omongole

“Simon Peter, a servant and an apostle of Jesus Christ, to them that have
obtained like precious faith with us through the righteousness of God and our
Saviour Jesus Christ: Grace and peace be multiplied unto you through the
knowledge of God, and of Jesus our Lord, According as his divine power hath
given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the
knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue:” (2 Peter 1:1-3
KJV)

As you study the Bible, it’s important to take note of the tenses used. At times
God says He has done something, at times He says He is doing something, and
other times He says He will do something. Here He said “…his divine power
hath given unto us…” That means it’s in the past. Hallelujah! It’s not something
God is planning to do, He has done it already.

His divine power has given to us all things that pertain to life and godliness.
Whom is he talking about? Those of us who have received the Lord Jesus; who
have obtained like precious faith through the righteousness of God and our
Saviour Jesus Christ. Hallelujah!

If there was anything you needed for life (Greek “zōē”, that is the new kind of
life you’ve received in Christ), His divine power has given it to you. When you
understand this, you find that you don't have to ask God for those things
anymore; because He has given them to you through the knowledge of Him
who called us to glory and virtue. Hallelujah!
The calling that we have received from God is a calling to glory; a calling to
excellence. Hallelujah! God planned that whoever answered this call would live
in glory and excellence. That word “glory” is translated from the Greek “doxa”
which also means the correct attitude; the correct mind-set; the correct thoughts.

When you are walking in glory, people look at your life and see the mind of
God; just as it is written in the Scriptures. For example the Word says
“Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health,
even as thy soul prospereth.” (3 John 1:2 KJV) When someone looks at your
life; they ought to see prosperity and health; that can be a revelation of God to
them. Praise the Lord!

CONFESSION

I have been ushered into a life of glory and excellence. The divine power of
God has supplied to me all things that I need to live a godly life in Christ Jesus.
Hallelujah! I manifest the Glory of God everywhere I go because I am a doer of

YOU’RE SAVED AND BORN AGAIN

Wednesday 18th August, 2021
Pastor David Omongole

“According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain
unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to
glory and virtue: Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious
promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having
escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.” (2 Peter 1:3-4 KJV)

Two things we notice about the children of God here; 1. Escaping the corruption
that is in the world and 2. Being partakers of the divine nature. You escape the
corruption that is in the world through lust and you participate in the divine
nature. Some people are saved; so they have escaped the corruption that is in the
world but they haven’t embraced the part of being a partaker of the divine
nature.

In fact many of them don't realize that there is a difference between being saved
and being born again. What does it mean to be saved? You have been saved
from trouble; whether it is sickness, poverty, failure, destruction, death…
you’ve been brought out of it. How about being born again? It means to be born
into the family of God.

Moses said something beautiful in Deuteronomy chapter 6. He said “…the

LORD brought us out of Egypt with a mighty hand …he brought us out from
thence, that he might bring us in, to give us the land which he sware unto our
fathers.” (Deuteronomy 6:21,23 KJV) When the Israelites came out of Egypt,
they went into the wilderness but it wasn't God's plan for them to stay there. He
brought them out of Egypt to bring them into the Promised Land.

That's how God functions, He brings you out so that He might bring you in; you
were saved so that you might be born again. Just like Colossians 1:13 KJV says
the Father “…hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath
translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son:”

God doesn't want you to stay in a place where you're simply comfortable not
having the trouble; you’re comfortable not being broke; you're comfortable not
being sick; you're comfortable escaping the accident. There is more in God. His
divine power has given to us all things that are requisite for living a godly life
here on earth. He has given to us exceeding great and precious promises: that by
these we might be partakers of the divine nature. Hallelujah!

CONFESSION

I have escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust. My Lord Jesus
saved me from sickness, poverty, failure, destruction and death. Hallelujah!
Now I am a participant in the divine nature. Glory to God! I have been
translated into the Glorious Kingdom of Light. I am consecrated by the Master
to live a God-filled and God-honouring life in this present world. Hallelujah! I
manifest the perfections and excellences of God daily in Jesus’ mighty name.
Amen!

BUILT INTO A SPIRITUAL HOUSE

Thursday 19th August, 2021
Pastor David Omongole

“[Come] and, like living stones, be yourselves built [into] a spiritual house,
for a holy (dedicated, consecrated) priesthood, to offer up [those] spiritual
sacrifices [that are] acceptable and pleasing to God through Jesus Christ.” (1
Peter 2:5 AMP)

As the church of Jesus Christ, we are built up into a spiritual house like living
stones. He uses the word “stones” because at that time that’s what they were
using for building. If he was in a place where they were using bricks, he would
have said living “bricks”. Hallelujah! Each of us is a living brick for putting up
the house of God.

This is God's plan for the church; to have us built into a spiritual house, a holy
priesthood, a separated priesthood. It’s different from what the Israelites had in
the Old Testament, where all of them were people of God but for one to be a
priest, he had to belong to a particular tribe; that is the tribe of Levi.

Now He says, “All of us that have received Jesus Christ are being built into a
spiritual house; for a holy priesthood to offer up spiritual sacrifices acceptable
and pleasing to God through Jesus Christ.” We are all holy priests. Glory
Hallelujah! We are the priesthood of God; consecrated to offer up spiritual
sacrifices.

When Jesus came, God wasn’t only looking at having you healed or getting you
out of poverty. He had a bigger plan in mind; to have you offer up spiritual
sacrifices that are acceptable to Him by Jesus Christ. 1 Peter 2:9 AMP says “…
you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a dedicated nation, [God's] own
purchased, special people, that you may set forth the wonderful deeds and
display the virtues and perfections of Him Who called you out of darkness
into His marvelous light.”

You were called out of darkness into His marvelous light. Maybe you were sick
and you came to church for healing; after getting healed, there is more. God
brought you out of the sickness that He might bring you into a victorious life;
where you manifest His virtues and perfections all around you to the glory of
His Holy Name. Hallelujah!

CONFESSION

I am a citizen of Zion; a child in the house of God, Hallelujah! I’m built up

together with the saints into a holy temple in the Lord; a habitation of God
through the Spirit. Praise be to God, who has made me a royal priest;
consecrated to offer up spiritual sacrifices acceptable and pleasing to Him
through Jesus Christ. I’m set apart for glory. Hallelujah! I live a life of perpetual
success and victory, manifesting the virtues and perfections of God everywhere
I go in Jesus’ name, Amen.

SHOW FORTH HIS PRAISES

Friday 20th August, 2021
Pastor David Omongole

“But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a

peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called
you out of darkness into his marvellous light:” (1 Peter 2:9 KJV)

We are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a dedicated nation, [God's] own

purchased, special people. We hail from God and we are born for His purpose;
that is to show forth His praises. The Greek word “aretē” translated “praises” in
our theme verse also means “excellences”. God has called you to show forth His
praises; His excellences; His perfections. How wonderful!

Notice that He didn't say “You have been set apart to talk about His praises”
even though the talking is included. You are set apart to show forth His praises;
that means both in speech and in deed. Hallelujah! Everything about me shows
forth the perfections of God.

My health shows forth the perfections of God. I refuse to be sick because it’s
not a perfection of God. Can someone be sick when they genuinely believe in
Jesus? Oh yea, but they shouldn't be. Acts 10:38 KJV says “…God anointed
Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power: who went about
doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with
him.” God heals; He does not make people sick.

One day somebody told me, “Do not preach that kind of message! You don't
know the things people have gone through.” Well, it’s important to interpret the
Word of God by the Spirit; not emotionally. People may say “It's okay to be
sick.” but that’s not what the Word of God shows us.
3 John 1:2 KJV says “Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest
prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth.” This is the Father’s
desire for you child of God. His Word should define your experience; not the
other way round. Arise! Shine forth the praises of God. Hallelujah!

CONFESSION

I am a royal priest, chosen by God and dedicated to Him. Hallelujah! I am the

Father’s purchased possession; ordained to show forth the praises of Him who
called me out of darkness into His marvelous light. Glory to God! I manifest the
perfection of God in my health even as my soul prospers. The Word of God is
my manual for life. As I meditate on the Word, my spirit is fine-tuned to
produce the results of the Word. With the help of the Spirit, I put the Word to
work in my life; therefore I manifest excellence both in my speech and
character to the Glory of God. Hallelujah!

CHRIST GAVE HIMSELF FOR THE CHURCH

Saturday 21st August, 2021
Pastor David Omongole

“Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave
himself for it; That he might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water
by the word, That he might present it to himself a glorious church, not having
spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without
blemish.” (Ephesians 5:25-27 KJV)

The key to understanding this portion of the Bible is to look at the context.
Apostle Paul was addressing the church of Jesus Christ. He brought in the
aspect of marriage because that’s one of the places where you must express the
relationship that you have with Jesus Christ; but it wasn’t the main topic.

You can glean some wonderful things about marriage, but you shouldn't miss
out on the Message He was putting across. In verse 32 he said, “This is a great
mystery: but I speak concerning Christ and the church.” (Ephesians 5:32
KJV) That shows us that what was on his mind is the relationship between
Christ and the church. Hallelujah!

He says “Christ gave himself for the church.” Our Lord Jesus died on the cross,
He was buried, He went to hell, He defeated the devil and He rose up from the
dead; that was Him giving himself. And in all that, He was thinking about the
church. He bought the whole world because He wanted the church.

Hebrews 12:2 KJV says “Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our
faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the
shame…” What was the joy that was set before him? The church. Praise the
Lord!
The Bible shows us that God quickened us together with Christ when we were
still dead in sins; and He “…hath raised us up together, and made us sit
together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus: That in the ages to come he
might shew the exceeding riches of his grace in his kindness toward us
through Christ Jesus.” (Ephesians 2:6-7 KJV) How amazing!

God did not begin loving us after we became good; He loved us when we were
still ungodly. Hallelujah! If the Father loved you when you were dead in sin, He
cannot cast you away now that He has made you righteous in Christ. Blessed be
God forever more!

CONFESSION

God so greatly loved and dearly prized the world that He sent His Son to save
us. My Lord Jesus Christ endured the cross and despised the shame because He
had me in mind. He defeated the devil and the cohorts of darkness all for my
sake. Hallelujah! God raised me up together with Him; now I’m seated in
heavenly places in Christ Jesus; far above all principality, power, might,
dominion and every name that is named both in this world and in the world to
come. Praise God forever! I live a victorious and triumphant life today because
Jesus gave Himself for me. Hallelujah!

nailed it to the cross. When He had disarmed the rulers and authorities, He made
a public display of them, having triumphed over them through Him.”

THE WASHING OF WATER BY THE WORD

Sunday 22nd August, 2021
Pastor David Omongole

“Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave
himself for it; That he might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water
by the word, That he might present it to himself a glorious church…”
(Ephesians 5:25-27 KJV)

Jesus sanctifies and cleanses the church with the ministration of the Word “that
He might present it to Himself a glorious church” This implies that Jesus is the
one who will give the final approval of the church; He will present us to
Himself as a glorious church. Praise the Lord!

Right now, Jesus is working on His church with the Word; He is cleansing it.
Even as you study the Cornet daily, the Word of God is coming to you, doubts
are being dissolved in your mind. Glory to God! The Lord is perfecting you
with His Word; and that doesn't negate the Truth that your spirit is already
perfect. He is dealing with the manifestation of the perfection that God has put
on your inside. Hallelujah! Somebody might have been feeling condemned; but
the moment the Word comes to him and he receives it, he becomes bold in the
Lord. Hallelujah!

God does not force you to walk in His will, He keeps on persuading you with
His Word. He persuades you so that you can agree to His plan and work with
Him. Philippians 2:13 MKJV says “…it is God who works in you both to will
and to do of His good pleasure.” Hallelujah! There is a glorious path that God
prepared for you and He has given you His Word to guide you all the way.
Receive the Word of God with faith, gladness and meekness and it will
transform you. The Word will build you up and bring you to a place where you
are living the good life that God made ready for you to live. Hallelujah!

CONFESSION

The Word of God transforms my mind, dissolving all doubts and giving me
supernatural solutions to the challenges I encounter. As I yield myself to His
Word; the Lord guides me in the path that He has laid out for me. Hallelujah!
The Word of God’s Grace builds me up and delivers me into the inheritance that
He has given me. I am continually refined by the Word; therefore I am walking
in the perfect will of God for my life in Jesus’ name, Amen.

WITHOUT BLEMISH
Monday 23rd August, 2021
Pastor David Omongole

“Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave
himself for it; That he might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water
by the word, That he might present it to himself a glorious church, not having
spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without
blemish.” (Ephesians 5:25-27 KJV)

Part of the glorious inheritance of the saints is to be holy and without blemish;
not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing. In Leviticus 21:16-17 KJV, “…
the LORD spake unto Moses, saying, Speak unto Aaron, saying, Whosoever
he be of thy seed in their generations that hath any blemish, let him not
approach to offer the bread of his God.”

Aaron was a high priest and his children were priests; but the Lord said “If any
has any blemish, let him not approach to offer the bread of his God.” What kind
of blemishes was the Lord talking about? “…a man blind or lame, or one who
has a mutilated face or a limb too long, or a man who has an injured foot or
an injured hand, or a hunchback or a dwarf or a man with a defect in his
sight or an itching disease or scabs or crushed testicles.” (Leviticus 21:18-20
ESV) Anybody with a blemish was not allowed make offerings to the Lord.

Over to the New Testament: the Word says “Ye also, as lively stones, are built
up a spiritual house, an holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices,
acceptable to God by Jesus Christ.” (1 Peter 2:5 KJV) You may be wondering,
“Today if a believer has a blemish; maybe he is blind or lame, can he still offer
up sacrifices to God?” Oh yea, he is not limited by the blemish because when
one is born again; all the blemishes have been taken away and God does not
recognize them anymore. Hallelujah!

So a blemish won't stop you from ministering to the Lord but you can decide to
look at things the way God looks at them and walk in His Light. The Light of
God about you is that you have no blemish whatsoever. Therefore you can stand
boldly and reject that blindness, deformity, defect or whatever blemish it is.
Glory to God!

The Scripture shows us that at the rapture, everybody that died in Christ will be
raised up whole (1 Corinthians 15:51-53). If a man died with only one leg, he
will be raised up with two legs. If he had no eyes, he will be raised up with both
eyes. And those eyes will not be brand new eyes; they may be new to the person
but not to God because He availed them over 2000 years ago through the
sacrifice of Jesus. But at that time, the manifestation of those eyes will not be
dependent on the man’s hope and faith but on the power of God.

And guess what; you don’t have to wait for the rapture to manifest the
wholeness that God has freely availed you in Christ; you can take a hold of it by
faith now. Hallelujah! You recognize that God no longer looks at you as
someone with one leg longer than the other; so you stand on that Truth and talk
to your legs, you say “Level up now in the name of Jesus.” Hallelujah!

CONFESSION

Being holy and without blemish is my portion as a child of God. I choose to

look at myself as God looks at me; there is no blemish on my body. Through
faith, I take a hold of the wholeness that God has freely availed me in Christ
Jesus. Hallelujah! I am walking in the Light of God’s Word; perfect and
blameless; without spot, wrinkle or any such thing. I am consecrated as a priest
to offer up spiritual sacrifices, acceptable to God by Jesus Christ. Hallelujah!

PRESENT MEN PERFECT

Tuesday 24th August, 2021
Pastor David Omongole

“And you, that were sometime alienated… yet now hath he reconciled In the
body of his flesh through death, to present you holy and unblameable and
unreproveable in his sight:” (Colossians 1:21-22 KJV)

Jesus reconciled us in the body of His flesh through death; to present us holy
and unblameable (that means without blemish) and unreproveable in His sight
(that means perfect in speech and character, without need for rebuke).
Hallelujah! We don't have to wait to get into heaven to have the impact of this
Truth in our lives; and that’s the purpose of ministry. God has given us
ministers to bring us to the place of perfection through the ministration of the
Word. Hallelujah!

Every minister of God has a responsibility to present God’s children perfect in

Christ Jesus. Apostle Paul called it fulfilling the Word of God (Colossians
1:25). He said we preach Christ “…warning every man, and teaching every
man in all wisdom; that we may present every man perfect in Christ Jesus:”
(Colossians 1:28 KJV)”

God has charged us with this ministry; to present every man perfect in Christ
Jesus. What does he mean by perfect? Holy and without blemish; this is why we
cannot minister without the power of God. At times you find ministers who do
not want to identify themselves with the miracle working ability of God; they
are always wondering “What if it doesn't work?”, “What if I tell the blind man
that he can see again and he doesn't?” Well, what if he actually sees again, what
will his life be like? This is what should come to your mind. Glory to God!
You received power when the Holy Spirit came to live in you (Acts 1:8) and
you can stir up that power through prayer. James 5:16 AMP says “…The
earnest (heartfelt, continued) prayer of a righteous man makes tremendous
power available [dynamic in its working].” Hallelujah!

When the power of God in you is activated; you can direct it to work when the
need arises. If somebody is deaf, you will lay hands on his ears and they will
open up; regardless of how he got deaf. Whether it was an issue in the brain or
an issue in the ears, it means nothing; he will start to hear. Glory to God! If you
encounter one who is crippled, maimed, blind or with a defect in the eye, you
can help him come to a place of perfection to the Glory of God. Hallelujah!

CONFESSION

Jesus Christ reconciled me in the body of His flesh through death, to present me
holy and without blemish in His sight. Hallelujah! Through the ministration of
God's Word, I am brought up to a place of perfection in Christ. As a minister, I
labour diligently to present God's children perfect in Christ Jesus. I am
conscious that the power of God resides in me by the Holy Spirit. I activate this
power through heartfelt continued prayer and I direct it to work whenever the
need arises. Hallelujah!

GOD, OUR HERITAGE!

Wednesday 25th August, 2021
Pastor David Omongole

“…O Lord; I have said, You are my safe place, and my heritage in the land of
the living.” (Psalms 142:5 BBE)

Did you know that God is your heritage? David said “The lines are fallen unto
me in pleasant places; yea, I have a goodly heritage.” (Psalms 16:6 KJV)
What is that heritage? “The LORD is the portion of mine inheritance…”
(Psalms 16:5 KJV) Hallelujah! He is telling us that when the lots were cast,
some people took one part, others took another but where the lot fell for him, he
was given the Lord. How beautiful!

The man was prophesying concerning our times. The Lord God is your heritage
child of God. Hallelujah! The Lord is your inheritance; that is really big; it’s
beyond saying “You inherited divine health.” much as you inherited it. It’s
beyond saying “You inherited divine wealth.” much as you actually inherited it.
You inherited God!

And guess what, as long as you have God, all the other things will fall in place.
That’s why you shouldn’t worry about anything in life. Hebrews 13:5 KJV says
“Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such
things as ye have: for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee.”
Hallelujah! The CEO of the universe abides with you.

And when God came to live in you by His Spirit, He came with the things that
accompany salvation. 2 Peter 1:3 AMP says “…His divine power has
bestowed upon us all things that [are requisite and suited] to life and
godliness, through the [full, personal] knowledge of Him Who called us by
and to His own glory and excellence (virtue).” Hallelujah! Explore the things
God has freely given to you in Christ and give Him thanks.

CONFESSION

The LORD is the portion of my inheritance and of my cup; He maintains my

lot. Hallelujah! The lines have fallen for me in pleasant places; indeed, I have a
beautiful inheritance. I live a contented life because I have God; who is above
all. I am seated in heavenly places in Christ at the right hand of God.
Hallelujah! In His presence there is fullness of joy and at His right hand are
pleasures forevermore. Therefore my heart is filled with joy, and my mouth
shouts the praises of God! Hallelujah!

PARTAKERS OF THE INHERITANCE

Thursday 26th August, 2021
Pastor David Omongole

“Giving thanks unto the Father, which hath made us meet to be partakers of
the inheritance of the saints in light:” (Colossians 1:12 KJV)

The Father has made us fit to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in
light. Hallelujah! An inheritance is freely given to you; you don’t pay for it. So
whatever God says belongs to you; you can receive it by faith and walk in it. He
has qualified you for it and nothing should stop you from manifesting it.
Hallelujah!

Why is it that some believers live like servants in the house of God, yet they are
sons of God; and heirs according to the promise? Galatians 4:1-3 KJV lets us
know that “…the heir, as long as he is a child, differeth nothing from a
servant, though he be lord of all; But is under tutors and governors until the
time appointed of the father. Even so we, when we were children, were in
bondage under the elements of the world:”

For as long as somebody thinks that God blesses him based on his works, he is
still a child (Greek “nēpios”) and in that place; it’s impossible for him to walk
rightly in what God destined for him. Any time you think that you have to pay
for something from God before you can get it, remember this; “He that spared
not his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how shall he not with him
also freely give us all things?” (Romans 8:32 KJV)

When Jesus was given, He was the greatest gift that God could ever give to the
world. And just as you didn’t have to pay for Jesus, you don’t have to pay for
any other blessing from God; because none of those things is greater than Jesus.
Hallelujah!

What then should you do? Grow in faith and grow in responsibility. The faith
will help you to receive the things God has set out for you and responsibility
will help you to accommodate them. When you grow, you are able to make
good use of what God has given you to the glory of His Holy Name. Hallelujah!

CONFESSION

God has qualified me to be a partaker of the inheritance of the saints in light.

Hallelujah! I daily walk in the glorious inheritance that my Father God has
freely given me in Christ. I’m unstoppable; nothing has the power to limit my
progress in life. Glory to God! I avail myself to hear the Word of Christ and I
act on it diligently and faithfully; therefore I grow in faith and responsibility. I
am well able to make good use of what God has given me to the glory of His
Blessed Name. Hallelujah!

“For you have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear, but you have
received the Spirit of adoption by which we cry, Abba, Father! The Spirit
Himself bears witness with our spirit that we are the children of God. And if we
are children, then we are heirs; heirs of God and joint-heirs with Christ; so that
if we suffer with Him, we may also be glorified together.”

NEW THINGS
Friday 27th August, 2021
Pastor David Omongole

“Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are

passed away; behold, all things are become new. And all things are of God,
who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the
ministry of reconciliation;” (2 Corinthians 5:17-18 KJV)

What an interesting portion of Scripture! He doesn’t say “If any man be in

Christ, he is a new man.” No! If any man be in Christ, he is a new creature. He
didn’t limit that creature to being a man. Look child of God, you are much more
than a man; you have become one with the Lord in your spirit. Hallelujah!

The nature of God has usurped the nature of man in your spirit; now you have
the nature of God. Hallelujah! You a new creature: old things are passed away;
behold, all things have become new. The word “passed away” there means
perished; abolished. So the old things have been abolished. Glory to God!

This is the reason the Scripture doesn’t use the word “behold” when talking
about the old things. The old things are passed away; you cannot look at them
anymore because they have been abolished. Behold the new things; look at the
new things. What are these new things? That is your inheritance in God.
Hallelujah!

In verse 18, he says “And all things are of God,” that means all the new things
are supplied by God. The people of the world may have some earthly sources of
supply; but we live by a different set of rules. Hallelujah! Everything we have
now is supplied by God.
Apostle Paul said to the saints at Philippi, “…my God shall supply all your
need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.” (Philippians 4:19 KJV)
Hallelujah! God is both your supplier and your supply; He is the giver of your
inheritance and He is also your inheritance. Praise the Lord!

There are good and perfect things that the Father has supplied to you now that
you are born again; now that you are a new creature. When you have this
consciousness; you will not be shaken when certain things happen around you.
They may say “there is an economic depression” but you will not be afraid; you
will not be found among those who are crying about the situation. For the Lord
God is your everlasting source. Hallelujah!

CONFESSION

I am a new creature in Christ; the old things have been abolished. I am one with
the Spirit of the Lord. Hallelujah! The nature of God is working in me now.
Everything I have is a good and perfect gift from above, for the Lord God is my
everlasting source. He is both my provider and my provision. He has blessed me
with new things! I manifest the blessings of God everywhere I go by the power
of the Holy Spirit. Hallelujah!

MAKE GOOD USE OF THE MIRROR

Saturday 28th August, 2021
Pastor David Omongole

“Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are

passed away; behold, all things are become new. And all things are of God,
who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the
ministry of reconciliation;” (2 Corinthians 5:17-18 KJV)

The Word of God is a mirror; its purpose is to show you what God has made
you, what He has done for you, what He has given you, and then you effect that
Word in your life by faith. Glory to God! What He says is who you are. In our
theme Scripture, He lets us know that when you are in Christ, the old things
have passed away; all things have become new; and all things are of God. That
means everything that you have now is of God. Hallelujah!

It may look like you are manifesting some sickness, but when you look into the
mirror; you see that “all things are of God”; therefore sickness has no place in
your body. As you look into the Word of God; you see Jesus, and you realize
that there is no sickness in Him; no cancer in Him; no virus in Him; and you are
complete in Him; who is the head of all principalities and power.

So what do you do? You establish that same truth in your own body. You
practise the Word of God; you talk the Word, and you act on it. You become a
doer of the Word. I often tell people that if you believe that by the stripes of
Jesus, you were healed; you believe that your body is the temple of the Holy
Ghost and sickness tries to push you into bed; so that you can lie there like a
sick man, reject it! Get up and do things that people who are healthy do.
Hallelujah!
You may be feeling some pain; but keep talking the Word. At that point, do not
start thinking of what you did or did not do. Reject that sickness; reject the pain.
For as long as you realize that what you are going through is not of God; you
can reject it. You can stand confidently on His Word and reject it in the mighty
Name of Jesus. Hallelujah!

CONFESSION

The Word of God is a peculiar mirror. As I look into the Word, I discover who
God has made me, where He has placed me, what He has done for me, what He
has given to me and what He has assigned for me to do. Hallelujah! Through
faith, I establish the truth of God's Word in my life, ministry, family, business
and work. Glory to God! I steadfastly resist the devil by rejecting sickness,
failure, poverty and anything that is of darkness. Hallelujah! My thoughts,
words and actions are framed by what I see in the Mirror of God’s Word; for it
is my present day reality in Christ Jesus. Hallelujah!

James 1:23-25 MKJV

“For if anyone is a hearer of the Word and not a doer, he is like a man studying
his natural face in a mirror. For he studied himself and went his way, and

of liberty and continues in it, he is not a forgetful hearer, but a doer of the work.
This one shall be blessed in his doing.”

GOD, OUR SUPPLIER

Sunday 29th August, 2021
Pastor David Omongole

“Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such

things as ye have: for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee.”
(Hebrews 13:5 KJV)

Be content with such things as you have! There are people whose moods change
when they don’t have a certain amount of money in their bank account or
wallet. The Father doesn’t want you to live like that child of God. He is your
supplier. And you must understand that God is Spirit; therefore He is not limited
by any physical supply. Hallelujah!

Learn to identify what your need is; do not allow the devil to define your need.
I’ll give you an example; if you would like to purchase a piece of land that is
worth UGX 150 Million, the devil may make it seem like the 150M is your
need; but really, what you need is the land. And God doesn’t need 150M to get
you that land.

He already told us that “The wise man saves for the future, but the foolish
man spends whatever he gets.” (Proverbs 21:20 TLB) If you have been
practising the Word of God; you must have some savings set aside. And God
can position you rightly and you find somebody selling the land for less.
Hallelujah!

Everything about you now is of God; whatever you have is supplied by the
Father. Glory to God! With this consciousness, you can reject poverty forever.
Because God does not have a store of poverty; He doesn’t distribute poverty
from time to time. No! He is the Gracious Father of lights who gives good and
perfect gifts. Hallelujah!

2 Peter 1:3 KJV says “…his divine power hath given unto us all things that
pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath
called us to glory and virtue:” Dare to believe what God says He has done; take
Him at His Word; for He watches over it to perform it (Jeremiah 1:12).

If there seems to be something missing around you, rise up and declare that
“What the Word of God says is true; He has given me all that I need; everything
that pertains to life and godliness. I am well supplied; spirit, soul and body. The
Lord is my Shepherd, I shall not want. He makes me lie down in green pastures:
He leads me beside the still waters. He instructs me; He guides me; He reveals
to me the provision He has set before me. Glory Hallelujah!”

CONFESSION

The Lord God is my supplier. He has blessed me with all spiritual blessings in
heavenly places in Christ. I recognize that my Father God is Spirit; and
therefore He is not limited by any physical supply. Hallelujah! I am content
with what I have because God lives in me. I am walking in prosperity and
divine wealth; for this is my heritage in Christ. Hallelujah!

FRUITFUL IN EVERY GOOD WORK

Monday 30th August, 2021
Pastor David Omongole

“For this cause we also, since the day we heard it, do not cease to pray for
you, and to desire that ye might be filled with the knowledge of his will in all
wisdom and spiritual understanding; That ye might walk worthy of the Lord
unto all pleasing, being fruitful in every good work, and increasing in the
knowledge of God;” (Colossians 1:9-10 KJV)

This verse shows us that you are fully pleasing to the Lord when you are fruitful
in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of God. This is the
Father’s will for you in Christ Jesus. Hallelujah! Psalms 1:2-3 KJV says
Blessed is the man whose “…delight is in the law of the LORD; and in his law
doth he meditate day and night. And he shall be like a tree planted by the
rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall
not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper.”

Anything that I do prospers; this is my heritage in Christ Jesus. Hallelujah! I’m

not just saying this because I saw it in some vision; no! It’s the Word of God; so
you can say the same for yourself. Hallelujah!

Everything that I am connected to prospers. If I begin to do something, I am

fruitful in it. When I preach the Gospel, I win souls. I mean; the purpose of
preaching is to win souls; so when I preach, I am fruitful in it; I win souls.
Glory to God! When I do business, I am fruitful. The business is not a charity
organization; so when I do it; I am fruitful; I make wealth which I use to
propagate the Kingdom of Light. Hallelujah!
If you are a woman and you have had some miscarriages before, you can put
that to an end. You say “I am born to be fruitful in all that I do; I carry my
children to full term in the Mighty Name of Jesus.” Glory to God! This is your
portion child of God; to be fruitful in every good work; when you go to school
to study, you excel. When you get married, it works. Hallelujah! When you get
children, they grow up in the way of the Lord. Glory!

May you be filled with the knowledge of God’s will in all wisdom and spiritual
understanding; that you might walk in a manner that is worthy of the Lord, fully
pleasing to Him, bearing fruit in every good work and steadily growing and
increasing in and by the knowledge of God. Hallelujah!

CONFESSION

I am born to be fruitful in every good work; this is my heritage in Christ Jesus. I

excel in the things that God has committed to my trust because I meditate on the
Word of God without ceasing. I am fruitful in the ministry of reconciliation; as I
go about preaching the Good News, I win souls for the Kingdom of God.
Hallelujah! I prosper in my health, business, work, academics and marriage in
Jesus’ name. Hallelujah! The Holy Spirit gives me revelation in the knowledge
of God and He works with me to walk in the Light of God. Therefore my life is
fully pleasing and honourable to the Lord my God. Blessed be God!

THE SPIRIT TEACHES US ALL THINGS

Tuesday 31st August, 2021
Pastor David Omongole

“In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of
your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that
holy Spirit of promise,” (Ephesians 1:13 KJV)

There is a reason why God made sure that everybody who is born again
received the Holy Spirit personally. Jesus said “…the Comforter, which is the
Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all
things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said
unto you.” (John 14:26 KJV) Powerful!

The Holy Spirit teaches us all things. That means everybody that has received
the Holy Spirit is qualified to know the Word of God for himself. Of course
there is the office of an apostle, prophet, evangelist and pastor; God has given
us these gifts to teach and instruct us. But did you know that as a believer you
will be judged personally?

2 Corinthians 5:10 KJV says “…we must all appear before the judgment seat
of Christ; that every one may receive the things done in his body, according to
that he hath done, whether it be good or bad.” Now keep in mind that for those
who have received the Lord Jesus Christ, the judgement will not be about
deciding whether you will go to heaven or hell, it has to do with the rewards
that you will receive.

If somebody stands before the Lord and says “I heard that preacher say this and
I believed it. I went in that direction thinking it was the right thing to do.” God
is not going to accept that kind of explanation. The preacher will be judged for
telling him the wrong thing, but God will not take it as an excuse from him.

Each one of us will have to give account; it will not be in groups like you know,
“The ones that heard this Gospel, come over here. The ones who heard the other
Gospel, stand right there.” No; God will judge based on His Word. That’s why
it’s very important for you to know the Word of God for yourself.

There is nothing wrong with following a preacher; but follow him as he follows
Christ. Perform due diligence to ensure that the person you are following is
actually following Christ. God has given you His Spirit to guide you into all
Truth; when you walk in fellowship with Him, you will be able to discern good
from evil. Hallelujah!

CONFESSION

I am qualified to know the Word of God accurately because I have received the
Holy Spirit. He teaches me all things and He guides me into all Truth. Glory to
God! As I walk in sync with the Spirit of God, I am trained to discern good
from evil. He brings to my remembrance the Word of God; which aligns me to
the perfect will of God for my life. I am instructed and inspired by the Lord in
all that I do. He directs my steps and causes me to walk in paths of
righteousness and fruitfulness. Hallelujah!

John 16:13 KJV

“Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth:

2 Timothy 3:13-15 KJV

“But evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse, deceiving, and being
deceived. But continue thou in the things which thou hast learned and hast been
assured of, knowing of whom thou hast learned them; And that from a child
thou hast known the holy scriptures, which are able to make thee wise unto
salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus.”
